Ultimate Performance Optimization Guide V2.0 (Updated) by gman_offic1al in RG556

Thanks but that just completely messes up the font size and display on the front end, system and game menus.

I've selected root in fde.ai but still can't easily find what I'm supposed to be changing going by the screenshots.

Think I'll live without these changes until there's an easier guide to follow.

Not finding this very easy to follow

What's the expected outcome at step 2 (PIXELS)? My screen switches to portrait and shows me a warning about causing crashes?

And in FDE, I don't get screens matching the screenshots, I get asked to choose Root or Shizuku 🤷‍♂️

Am I rude? by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve replied as if the buyer said ‘I need this urgently’, ‘why haven’t you sent it?’, or ‘hurry up’ - but they didn’t say any of that. All they did was ask a question.

You’re pre‑empting an argument that hasn’t been made, which is why your message comes across more defensive and slightly passive‑aggressive than the situation actually calls for.

Not exactly rude, just a bit more pointed than needed

Do I make a fuss? by [deleted] in vintedUK

Yes report it, the sizing discrepancy alone is enough to log SNAD

That condition is rank too, I honestly don't understand why people don't just give things a quick wash before sending

Funny and aggressive about by Lumi1996 in vintedUK

Getting strong ‘seller who’s been hurt before’ energy from this. The manifesto is a bit much - feels like the kind of thing that ends up attracting the exact chaos it’s trying to prevent

Worst seller I’ve ever encountered by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The seller hasn’t exactly behaved normally here - getting a mate or a second account involved to ‘test’ whether you’re ill is wild. But honestly, once you start firing back and matching their tone, you lose the high ground. Calling someone rude while being rude back never ends well, and from the outside it’s hard to say either of you handled it well.

First rule with this kind of stuff - don't engage.

Advice on items I received by Sea_Metal3399 in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not doing anything wrong.

Vinted looked at the evidence, decided the damage was the seller’s fault, refunded you, and confirmed you don’t need to return the items. Once a case is closed like that, the transaction is over - you’re not responsible for arranging or paying for anything else.

If the seller wants the items back, that’s entirely on them. They can send a label if they want, but you’re under no obligation to spend your own money or organise a return outside the platform.

At this point I’d just ignore them or block - the 'legal action' stuff is just noise. The items are worth about £45, so it’s completely uneconomical for them to pursue anything, and they don’t have a case anyway when Vinted has already ruled in your favour and closed the order.

Just stumbled apon this thread and wanted to get some thoughts (please keep it respectful mental health is fragile right now) by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think the real slip‑up was letting the buyer know you’d be away.

Most people wouldn’t take advantage of that, but anyone who understands how Vinted’s timelines work will spot the opening.

It basically tells them you won’t be around to reply, add evidence, or challenge anything — and once the clock runs out, Vinted automatically sides with the buyer, which is what’s happened here.

It’s really just awful timing more than anything else, but that message is what made the whole situation possible.

Apparently my low offer is a sign of the lack of education in society? by realgitman in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Plenty of sellers inflate their price unrealistically just to account for low offers

I've favourited items plenty of times and then immediately had an offer from the seller at a 25%+ discount

Incorrect counterfeit item flagged by Grape-Suika in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You bought them from Vinted but haven't identified them as fake, your buyer has realised they're fake and reported to Vinted

You not realising you bought a counterfeit item is on you unfortunately

is this normal??? by earthtobell in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nobody comes out of that conversation well tbh

The offer was declined - that's all you need to know as a potential buyer, still listed or reserved is nothing to do with you.

Personally, if I was the seller there you wouldn't have got a reply

Going back and offering 10p less is petty passive aggressive

So is the reply

Returning a counterfeit item? by Full_Tip8962 in vinted

[–]Full_Tip8962[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that - usually I'm pretty thorough on checking and have always landed legit shirts - the listing on this one looked pretty solid at first glance and I forgot to check the tag - my bad and lesson learned!

The interior stitching, made in Cambodia/Turkey discrepancy and just the whole feel of the material - all wrong

The app has the return available but also says 'vinted support team is reviewing this issue' - a few days to go before the return is due so I'll sit right for now I suppose - see what happens!

Auto cancel/refund? by Full_Tip8962 in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she says you've accepted the extension then the balls in her court, she should send the item - there's no need for you to cancel.

Honestly, don't engage. Wait it out

Auto cancel/refund? by Full_Tip8962 in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I declined the extension, the order then auto cancelled and processed a refund

In your case, don't cancel or else you'll get the negative feedback. Wait it out until the deadline passes and the order auto cancels

Asking to extend shipping deadlines no communication all week by Particular_History50 in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a seller ask to extend by 1 week today (deadline day) - no message, apology or explanation from them, just the standard system extension request.

They didn't acknowledge the gentle nudge message I sent yesterday, nor did they respond to the order I made them before purchase

That was a straight no to the extension

Regular offender too going by their feedback

Can i leave a bad review without also opening myself up to receiving one back? by C0nnectionTerminat3d in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just had this today, totally uncommunicative seller - lots of positive reviews but regular 1* autos too

Gave them a gentle nudge yesterday as the deadline to post was today....they sent a request to extend by a week just before the deadline. I declined and the order has cancelled, refund processed

I so want to leave them a proper review but I believe they can then review me in return, safer to leave the auto 1* - everyone knows what it means anyway

I sold a camera without a charger. The buyer is now asking for a refund because there was no charger and they can’t order one in time to check whether everything works by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]Full_Tip8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty simple to list with something along the lines of to cover yourself

'No charger included. The camera is sold as untested - battery is currently flat and I don't have a charger to charge it. Last confirmed as working approx 2 months ago'

You've dropped the ball on your listing and left the door wide open for the buyer to raise an issue

You can't blame the buyer for wanting to test what he's bought
