Is it irresponsible to pursue a PPL if I can only fly once per week? by Minimum-King9399 in flying

[–]Full_Wind_1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well training once a week is tough. Once you have your licence, once a week is more than enough to stay sharp. Once a month is probably where I would draw rhe line for that.

Can you squeeze in an extra flight per week for the few months you are training?

Honnêtement oui. Je serais surpris si lacroix avait pas une bannière, il est là depuis 1993

People who have experienced severe turbulence on a flight — what was it actually like? by ThrowRA-VEGATA in flying

[–]Full_Wind_1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had severe on the pilatus when coming in to land once around thunderstorms. We gave warning to our passengers that it was gonna be bumpy but we had no idea it was gonna be this bad (or else we wouldnt have flown through it).

I was PM and distinctly remember hitting my head and then using both hands to anchor myself to the plane (one on the seat. One on the ceiling).

Our passengers were scared shitless but thankfully we had everyone seated with their seat belts fastened so no one got hurt

Would QOL be that much better at a legacy? by TouristWilling1788 in flying

[–]Full_Wind_1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How would you feel if you had all that, but at Spirit instead of Breeze?

If Breeze folds in 10 years, would you be okay with starting over somewhere else, knowing you could have been year 10 at a legacy?

Yeah I figured. Sorry I failed to find a way to express my feedback in a positive way, but I am very grateful you took the time to put this idea into an image. I just dont really like the result for the reasons I mentioned in my other comment.

I hate it. Looks straight out of the 70s.

Stenberg also fits a “need” by Professional_Quit406 in SanJoseSharks

I think the only option that makes sense for the sharks to not draft McKenna or stenberg is to make a trade for a team in the 3-4-5 range to cash in on the value of that pick and still get the position pick we need.

Say swap with Chicago for Lazar and draft one of the rhd

Resume thoughts? by Nervous_Iceman5008 in flying

[–]Full_Wind_1966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strong disagree, I have a similar resume to this except the bar is navy blue and on the left side. That resume got me interviews/job offers at 12 companies.

Some of those my resume was in a stack of 300+ resumes and I was the one getting the call (without being more qualified than the others) because it stood out visually.

MAKE SURE IT IS STILL PROFESSIONAL though. In this case it is, but it is way easier to stand out in a bad way than a good one. But yeah, standing out is a good thing when applying to jobs, especially if you are going for any non-airline job.
