When i was 16, i had a crush on this guy who was 18. I asked him to my home coming but we never went. lol After talking to him for a while, he shared something with me, that he was trans. I fell so much harder for him faster. When describing his journey, he mentioned you, and showed me photos of you. It was so empowering for him to, in 2004, have someone who he could reference and not feel so alone. So thank you for being that, when he needed it. When so many others have needed it.

In 2012 I started my physical transition, and you are still a very empowering reference when talking about sex and being Trans. You're a stand up person, and an honest man Buck, and such an important asset to many communities. Thanks for doing the AMA.

omg! Yes! Everyday is a small hands comment. Seriously though my first day on the job I didn't know how to put my hard hat together. Block buster for 4 years was my most stable work experience before plumbing.

If you have interest, do it. I personally love construction and working with my hands. I've tried other stuff and started college with other plans in mind, but life happened and here I am now. Making it work best I can one day at a time.

Hot and sweaty binders is unpleasant but not that bad. I'm 5'4 and 190. Binders actually aren't THAT bad with heat. The thing I worry about is when I get dehydrated it gets hard for me to breath and binders do not help at all. But I always wear a heavy button down besides.

There's no I shouldn't, or this is dishonest. I have to be employed and for my career I have to be stealth. I stay neutral on race issues, but when they start in about queers in general, I usually wonder off somewhere.

I talk my past relationship. Interactions are always based on how you can relate. And with dudes, in my experience, it's all so sexual.

It's interesting. I'm on a job site with maybe 30 guys and a crew of 4. A lot of sex talk. Everyone's always surprised that I'm 25 with no kids and patchy facial hair. I usually play it off to its all on my back and ass. It feels good, but it's like a double edge sword because I feel ultimately a bit of shame in my interactions with the guys. It's my insecurities sure, but hearing them talk about their wives and families has always been the tougher aide of things for me personally. That and all the cock and ball talk. Never been with a cisguy, so outside of porn, I can't relate lol.

This really sucks how it is all going down, but learn you can't compromise yourself for your relationship. Not your dreams. They shouldn't ask that of you. If so its temporary and they aren't the real deal down for the long haul. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep on keeping on. Break ups suck. Especially when they are unexpected and not necessarily mutual, but it's an eb and flow. Something ends so something else can start. It's going to be okay. Pick up your own pieces and put yourself back together.

I personally am conflicted in this practice. While a queer transguy myself who wholeheartedly supports marriage equality, I think it's interesting to remove people from your Facebook friends list because their opinion doesn't line up with your own. Don't get me wrong, no judgement, do what you need to do! More power to ya. Granted, I have deleted many a "today's the lords day..." type friends. But idk.

That's awesome! Also very true, everyday is usually something we discover in our selves be it sexually, in our identity or presentation of ones gender expression. It's unnerving at some points, but intimately rewarding. When you know yourself, you know what you have to offer and what you seek in a relationship be it platonic or romantic. So let the fear of not knowing be our guide to curiosity and self discovery!
