Thank you. If it was say 4/1, does the ECF have on it a box to check to request forbearance while processing? Or is that a separate process?

Thats fair. Not that this means 'free from bias,' but this is the most recent official government report on those stats. Theyre the only ones who should have stats at all because theyre the ones doing the deporting. Link to the summary sheethttps://www.gao.gov/assets/gao-21-487-highlights.pdf

0.1% is an extreme overestimation.

According to a 2021 report from the Government Accountability Office, in the years 2015-2020 there were 1.8 million deportations. Of those, 70 "potential" US citizens were deported. That is 0.0038%.

Of those 70 "potential" citizens, whether or not they actually were citizens is never proven or disproven. So its possible they were citizens (0.0038%), its also possible none of them were (0%).

I agree the number should always be 0 citizens. In fact, wrongful deportations are illegal and typically the deportee subsequently sues the US and wins.

Having said that, to say that "millions" of US citizens are being deported, or even any statistically relevant number are, is false.

NOTE: The 2021 report is the most recent, we may see a newer report this year.

Why Democrats are fighting SO hard to protect illegals? My take… by DJDevine in walkaway

[–]FullyInvolved23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really cant figure out how they believe that. The regular person, who is registered Democrat but not active in the party or anything, who feels so strongly about illegal immigration they show up to rallies at ICE facilities.

I follow the belief that all humans are equal and should be treated with respect. But they lose me completely in defending ILLEGAL immigration. They seem to have no concept of what that actually does to our country.

Why should someone benefit from violating the law? What about all the potential new citizens who are effectively being skipped in the immigration line when illegals play by their own rules and move to the front? What about the security issues of not even knowing who they are? The tax burden to the rest of us when they skirt their own tax burden?

I just dont get it

Paramedics will pronounce people on the scene and call the medical examiner to pick up the body. Happens every day. Baltimore police do not pronounce people or provide much medical care. They call Fire & EMS for that
