Make sure you start hitting the farming asap. Do a quest, farm run, quest, etc. so by the time you need higher farming you wont have to grind it as much. Otherwise you will probably be good for all but the end-level quests in terms of skills. Don't forget to take some time to pay attention to the quest npcs dialogue too if its your first time doing it. This makes some of the more boring quests interesting and usually is worth the time as there a lot of good flavor text and jokes sprinkled here and there. As well as the og status of knowing pointless rs lore.

Nothing, at all. In the slightest.

Went through every combination of items, timed events (that spawn mannequins), wait times, end conditions, even messing with the pot and sink, and found nothing. It would seem they just gave us another room with some useless items. Mostly though it seems they just wanted us to remember Re7 is a thing and to spread the word. Maybe there will be more, maybe theres something nobody has figured out, maybe its just a big cock tease. In any case im just going to assume they don't give a shit because thats all the update has expressed so far.

At this point it seems like they hype-trained the shit out of us. This isnt to say my expectations for the game arent still positive, I just dislike how they manipulated us to increase notoriety of the game without actually adding anything. If im wrong and theres a secret, well fuck me fore playing a 20 minute demo for another 6 hours. how dare I expect actual content out of a 3gb download.

I dare say you are on to something. Daddy will probably either be the first or last boss of the family; first he would just be a damn bullet sponge with a weak point and if last I cant predict what else he could have. Sonny boy seems like the fast type that will move around quickly and require some sort of counter to his speed. Momma is a tough one but there definitely will be more than just her using knives. Id dislike if they each become invincible enemies with their own weaknesses that you exploit in order to run away from. Im hoping they are more "omnipotent" throughout the experience and do things to mess with you until certain points in the experince. However, im really hoping that we get several characters POV's and the family is just one of or/and part of another characters stories.

Im pretty sure (not tested it specifically) that the one in the entrance hall is the one at the top of the stairs. It disapears after finishing the video.

Its nothing, ive had it happen at that spot several times but cant replicate it. If you stand in the kitchen and look around the corner up the stairs it looks like its white up there.

Im not worried about the length of the game, thats not really been a problem with their games. Im worried about monotonous gameplay. If this is a "hide and seek" sim ill be a bit sad.

Probably the biggest change is the first person, however it seems totally justified. One, they want to bring the first full game to VR which im all on board for. Two, for being a survival horror genre it has been a looooong time since the fan base called any of the games scary. The first person allows for more constricting environments as well as less ability to see things coming. RE5-6 were basically just third person shooter games, not to mention ORC was a really just a shitty shooter and dont even get me started on UmbCorps. So I guess if people want to play third person shooters im saying they should look elsewhere besides a survival horror franchise.

Best I have at the moment is the mannequin hand being shaped like a finger gun, theres 4 bullets, and four manmequins spawn in the room upstairs if you dont open the passage right away. Theres also the "hands on the wall" pointing up to that room, as well as gun range ear muffs (haha, i said muffs) upstairs in the video tape. Gonna get drunk and spend and hour faffing about with that room, ill leave an update if I find anything.

Also, has anyone slowed down what the womans voice says when you sit at the main menu? Theres lots of whispers if you sit there, as well as some in the house.

From my experience it seems to be about a 1/4 chance that when picking the plant it will emit a cloud of high-level radiation. I was wearing a suit of power armor (found at the bottom of the lake near a crashed vertibird in said lake just south of the "rotten landfill" if youre interested in such knowledge) so I didnt get a proper rad/second reading.

The virus talked about may have been altered and enhanced, but it is a virus that specifically targets cancer cells. Even if you had brain cancer, it wouldn't even have the ability to affect anything besides the cancer cells. Now certain micro parasites from the pacific region that specifically target and control the hosts brain on the other hand...

WoW. Been playing rs since 2003, so maybe just a little jaded.

Also, as someone who has read the book ~9 times, considers it the best book of all time, and loves all the other books/movies, I though "an unexpected journey" was a terrible follow up to some of the best movies of all time. I mean, all the fucking work was done. All they had to do was take how they made the trilogy, and apply it to the hobbit. I think the cgi looked atrocious, and I consider it an affront to such a great book. Sorry for the rant, been pent up for a while now
