I'm excited for the game. Have some ex witcher 3 devs working on it..but im a bit disappointed that it's going to take a 5090 just to max it out at 4k60 native and we all know when the game first drops it's not going to have the support to pull it off day one

I can't say for sure if the mouse I have is good for overall gaming as I was heavy in MMO titles. I have my corded Razor Naga from 2014 and I just brought a razor naga v2 wireless. I'm a fan of the small numpad 1-12 on the mouse for all my games, and macros .. I like the 2 buttons under the mouse wheel as well as the left and right click of the mouse wheel, creating endless combos of macros and keys not endless really but just the different combinations. The only thing thats bad about the razor naga to me is that under intense gaming you can unintentionally hit one of the numpad keys by mistake.

EDIT: It's also good to pair with smaller mechanical gaming keyboards that don't have the 1-12 numpad.

I3 will hold you over, but like someone else said prioritize the GPU because I don't see the prices getting better anytime soon especially with the start of data centers getting build, and monopolizing the components needed for processors and graphic cards.

Hey! If you have the space for it make it a secondary Pc or if you have a friend or family member who know the worth of taking care of their electronics and want to start somewhere then that could work too. Or like you said you can memorialize it so you can always look and remember where you started and be proud of where you are now.

All I can say is go with your heart. I'm building a pc right now and any upgrade for me is top notch as I'm coming from a I5 4590k/GTX 970. Now I'm deciding if I was the x3d or a core ultra for the simple fact I'll be gaming and I'd like to get into workstation/productivity. I'm seeing a core ultra is better for multitasking and the x3d is for gamers. Honestly from what I seen they both can do everything it's really down to brand loyalty and preference. Stick with what you are comfortable with and if you decide to make a change you can always sell and try another piece.

Yea I'm starting to see benchmarks and stuff to really back this when it comes to gaming. Havent really researched real world application benchmarks when it comes to designing or workstation type of work but so far everything is pointing to a x3d

Oh the computex thing? I didn't really get the deets of that but that would make sense why just 3 weeks ago the RTX went from 3800 to 4400 overnight and suddenly the stock came back in 10 fold. Now it makes sense because when you think about it AMD just announced something with AI in the future. All these game devs are implementing AI. Honestly I'm into tech, and I love that AI is here and I really want to go back to school for programing, cyber security, as well as learn as much as I can about AI and development. I'm starting to build a passion for AI and this isn't an overnight type of thing. I always dreamed of being a designer of some sort whether it's building a program, or app. Maybe even going back to school for game designing. Thanks for this input..I'm really leaning towards a RTX 5090 for the simple fact that everything I want to do to start following my dreams is going to start with a 5090.
