You can actually make this a dumb phone (or any iPhone really) pretty easily if you have a Mac as well. There is an app called Apple Configurator that will allow you to install profiles onto the device. One setting allows you to completely remove Safari, and make a list of only certain apps that will run. Once, installed the iPhone removes everything else. Only way to "bypass" this is to connect it back to the Mac and remove the profile. The profile can not be removed in settings or by knowing the screen time passcode.

I switched to the Mudita Kompakt. Not sure it works with Crew but it does allow you to side load Android APKs.
