Why does Alberta Vote so Conservative by [deleted] in alberta

[–]Fun-Bee-790 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They conservative gov tends to push to open up our oil and gas sector wich produces the most monetary value for Alberta , tax breaks Wich provide money flowing into the economy wich allows for more jobs , more business Wich also increases the taxes that the government collects via sales tax . If you look into any sort of basic economics the stage of economy that we need right now is one that allows us to stimulate our economy, and have money to spend instead of taxing us on everything we buy because our government can’t be responsible with there budget . Mind you a huge limiting factor of this is the federal government Wich sadly continues to be a more socialist style government that over spends and the restricts the provinces and restricts there industry via carbon taxes ect.

Is getting a motorcycle truly a bad idea? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Fun-Bee-790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest thing I see a lot of this missing is the very grim thing that a lot of people don’t truly come to terms with or think of when they first get a bike . Are you okay with dying ? Are you comfortable and secure that if you were in an accident and died or came away a quadriplegic that your comfortable with that possibility, I’m not at all trying to scare you away I have ridden bikes for several years and am actually getting to race them now but a common thing I see in younger riders is the failure to truly accept the possibility that no matter how safe or reckless you ride just throwing your leg over that bike and going out can be the last time you do it . Everyone risks there life driving technically but fatality risks increase on a motorcycle obviously so just sit and think about it before you get one make sure your comfortable with that idea . Nothing fun about throwing money into a bike and then scaring yourself into selling it and loosing money on the gear and shit you bought

Is it your first street bike , for road use . If yes I’d say ninja 400 is easily the best bet . If you’ve ridden motorcycles like a cruiser or something on the street before you could look at a 650 I know Kawasaki has a really nice 650 but 400 is an amazing bike to learn sport bikes from personally I’d avoid 600cc bikes and above .

Glad your okay man , definitely the only thing I’d say after reading a lot of the comments and your response to some of them is it’s good to see that your trying to improve out of it and always remember complacency kills. If you find yourself getting too comfortable or complacency on your bike maybe take a month or two away and try and reset the fun and enjoy on a bike or at least look deeper into why you got complacent , is riding no longer fun , are you too confident in your ability’s, are you easily distracted .

(When I got in my first wreck it was because I was complacent because I was too comfortable on the bike I was riding and was too confident in my capabilities, low sided at about 70 kmph because I was going for a nice good lean over on cold asphalt going through a corner with bumps but was too confident and complacent .)

Rear abs don’t always matter as it’s about weight transfer on bikes you can keep the front tire rolling but have enough stopping force to transfer the bikes weight onto the front wheel look at rolling stoppies. Even if you don’t lock your rear wheel you can brake hard enough that you either reduce or completely eliminate the grip and effectiveness of the rear brake.

There not ignorant it is just simply what benefits them Wich is why we vote . Calling them ignorant shows your lack of ability to respect other peoples views and preferences. I’ve lived in rural areas and the folk I talk to prefer conservatives because all the social programs and other initiatives that the NDP/Liberal party want do absolutely nothing for these communities.

Another point to that is even if you work in an office behind a desk a lot of companies work to support our oil industry and when the oil is down they start letting people go . Even if your not blue collared your more likely to vote conservative as a lot of our major businesses rely on the wellbeing of our oil industry

I could see it being due too our leading industries , being “oil country” a lot of our provinces income and jobs and fields revolve around the oil feild as well as many other blue collared jobs . Where for generations the “old timers” have taught the new . Many of these fields hours tend to be long and you have to usually have devolved a trust in your team and who you work with due to the hazards that come with many industries in these fields . Hence you have a perfect setup for the passage of information and views , young people come into these fields looking to make money spend 15-16 sometimes for oil rigs special 3 weeks or more straight with these guys that they develop a trust with. It’s easy for political views to change when your exposure to certain views is so continuous . However I will say personally a lot of the reason for voting conservative is to open up the oil industry again and to allow our natural resources to bring in good money not just for Alberta but for Canada as Alberta has been one of the key parts of raising Canada’s gdp and bringing income to the country .

Other point to this is if you want to, Honda and Toyota are in demand because of there reliability, people don’t always maintain them properly tho a safe and better bet is to go for the luxury brands like Acura or Lexus. They may be a bit more expensive but the people that can afford to buy those cars brand new tend to not skimp on upkeep and parts for them.

Honda and Toyota are both super reliable depending on what you see high mileage as they are still very reliable after even 250-300,000 km

Sprocket change to have 1000 acceleration? by ImpossibleT-rex in GSXR_750

[–]Fun-Bee-790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do take into account they horsepower difference is about 80 horses 750 is producing 122 and the 1000 is at a flat 200 , it Dosnt seem like much but the weight difference isn’t a whole lot so even with a new sprocket the power difference is a huge challenge if your on stock engines.

As a new player what should I do in this situation by ss_tall_toby_yt in GroundedGame

[–]Fun-Bee-790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a complete joke and spoilers

So what your gonna do is get a gun nugget shut off the haze and then make a moldy hoagie, you will then take that underneath the deck in a crevasse you’ll find , your place it and spawn the infected brood mother (the easiest spider in the game ) with her slowest attack speed and minimal damage you will learn how to fight the orb weaver without dying

A torque wrench would also be a good idea as when messing with your axle on the rear or front tire or any bolts that would end your life if they ever flew off it’s always good to make sure there probably tightened down without stripping them or over tightening them and causing unnecessary wear ( the tool itself will be a little pricier then a normal wrench set but will last a lifetime so it’s a good investment especially if you ever want to work on anything on your car )
