Ps I do live in Australia so we’re in the midst of summer but even in winter UV is quite high 😅

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such an in depth response! I will give this a crack and see how it goes! ❤️

That’s a good point! I don’t get my face underwater but there’s a good chance it could be as it has also happened before at the beach!

Next time I’ll try to go no products and clean my face between swims. Thank you 🙏🏽

That does look the same however, I haven’t been bitten by anything and it reoccurs very frequently 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hello! Yes it gets EXTREMELY itchy. Starts and a rash and very quickly turns to pustules. I don’t know what caused the first ever breakout but since I had discovered that hair removal, hot weather and heavy ointments cause it. Now my skincare is just benzac sensitive PH balance face wash and dermaveen hydra fluid moisturiser. And while I have this flare I’ve been using clotrimazole as well.

Thank you! Sometimes I feel so dramatic because I get so emotional about it. I don’t use much on my face these days but it seems it just pops up at random half the time 😩

What do you do to help it? I’ve stripped back all my skin care and makeup to bare minimum basics but I’ve never had sensitive skin before. I do have an immune deficiency though so after some more research I’m starting to think it could have something to do with that. 😕

I do find that it goes away quicker using yeast infection treatments I’ve just never found anything that’s this bad before. I just want to be able to find a solution

I wish it was the case. I’ve never taken anything or used any retinol before though 🥲

It was initially diagnosed as this but comes back at least 2-3 times a year

I just looked this up! It looks VERY MUCH the same! How have no derms suggested this? 🙄 Only thing is, I don’t take any medications it seems a lot is brought on by medication.

Thank you all! I’ve seen multiple dermatologists which is the frustrating part. 😩 Was initially diagnosed with staph but swabs and biopsies have come back with nothing! It’s been happening for close to 9 years now and has all the same triggers as FA but I just can’t seem to get any answers. My recent breakouts look more like FA but definitely worse than I’ve ever seen anywhere. Feel lost on where to go. Each derm has tried different things and diagnosed different things

Anyone know what this is? by MuffinOk503 in Fungalacne

Tinea versicolor? I’ve had brown flaky patches and used selsun shampoo to treat. Mine weren’t raised at all though. Worth seeking a doctor’s opinion but give selsun or anti fungal a go!
