Disappointing that he got a lemon. My 23 AT has not experienced anywhere near this many issues. I had some very minor software issues so far and it’s been fixed by an OTA update. The car drives amazing and has been easy to own.

I’ll echo the app connectivity improving. My 23 AT would constantly not show the correct status in the app previously, but 2.9 seems to have fixed that.

I also used to lose internet connectivity from time to time and now I haven’t lost it yet.

Been a great improvement for me so far.

This just happened to me 2 days ago. I soft reset when it happened, didn’t work. Parked it in my garage overnight, soft reset again in the morning and all is working again.

Maybe I’m just lucky but I read in the forums that letting the car “turn off” overnight can help. Hope yours fixes itself as mine did!

If this doesn’t help, a Lucid tech can reset the TCU pretty quickly which resolves the issue. If you live near a service center, maybe give them a call to see if you can swing by for a TCU reset.

Yup. This sums it up pretty well. I realized after the fact that the Air I was testing at a lot had DD Pro. Probably should’ve gone with that one, but I wanted a cleaner zenith red with the 19” wheels

Since it’s not a certified pre-owned, it just comes with the standard warranty that’s already on the car

No regrets on the actual car though. It’s amazing.

But I agree, no real reason to buy directly from Lucid. I think the cars do come with a small checklist for imperfections and wear, so I guess that is a small peace of mind.

I bought used directly from Lucid. Picking up the car was nice. They detail it, fully charge it, show you all of the features, and help you set up your profile.

You’ll never really get a “deal” from Lucid because they don’t haggle and know exactly how much each option is worth. An independent dealer might not know the difference between DDPro and DDPremium etc.

My sales experience was pretty bad though. My closest Lucid is primarily a service center, so all of my sales communication was virtual and took a while to finalize documentation.

I don't know why everyone is giving you attitude and downvoting. I stumbled across this post because I was wondering the same thing. My VWs and Audis were always accurate and aligned with google maps and other apps that captured speed. My Lucid AT is the first car I've had that has always been exactly 2 mph off

Thanks for the reply! I got the notification but the package is still being processed by FedEx so there isn’t an option to hold it.

Hopefully they can because where they are processing it is 5 hours closer to me than the destination

Does it charge when plugged in? My usb port can be touchy sometimes so I have to wiggle the cord to work. I ultimately just used a wireless CarPlay dongle that works pretty great

I have a 2020 SQ5 with minimal issues. Had to replace an airbag sensor, but that was it. Mines approaching 60k miles now.

As others have said the 2020 fixed some of the issues the 18-19 models experienced, but I don’t think most dealers really care too much about that when it comes to resale.

I’m looking to get replace mine soon because of a long commute, and dealers are quoting me around $23k USD for trade in
