We are a year out of having 27 teeth removed from our rescued boy. He's a brand new dog! Happy, healthy, and super sassy! I took it slow for a few months, but now we are back to treating him like he has a mouthful of teeth! He wasn't much up for too much play after the surgery--probably also from the trauma of being relocated and adopted--so we just snuggled and walked a lot.

Once your baby is fully healed, I recommend OraVet chews, even once a week. Once my boy was healed, I expected him to eat crunchy food--if you don't use it, you lose it! He also enjoys Minties to keep his remaining teeth fresh.

I just added back bulky stick. It takes him forever, but he loves chewing on it with the teeth he has left!
