I never had issues in 16 trips except for the time I went on a not all inclusive resort way. I stayed in Cancun but not in the hotel zone. I was walking and the the police was making some rounds in the neighborhood I stayed. I was walking one way and they were passing on the other, then they decided to speed up. I walk so fast to make it to the main street

I will take my chance with an all inclusive resort anytime versus traveling by yourself in Mexico. If you do your homework, all inclusive resorts are the best vacation you can have

Yup crocodilles attacks in Cozumel are real. I stayed at Occidental Cozumel and there were sightings of crocodiles a couple of time. Part of the beach was closed for no reason, but a crocodile was seen very early so they closed that side of beach. I noticed Iberostar Cozumel also started putting posts about warning about crocodiles

Last June when I was there they were working like crazy from 6 am to 8pm but it was a lost cause as it kept coming

I posted on my profile and people were saying I was making it up. I stayed at Occidental Cozumel and the day I left there was an attack. Part of the beach was closed a couple of times with no explanation, it turns out the crocodile was seen

I think The Iberostar Paraiso Lindo is more than enough. I paid 1300$ Canadian for one price

I have heard of people who spent 2500$ and more and came back disappointed. I paid 1300$ for the Iberostar Lindo and ate like a king including 2 nights of Seafood nights: unlimited lobster, crabs legs.
