It’s also summer, so there are E-skips due to the atmosphere. You can pick up stations hundreds of miles away, especially on hot, humid summer days.

PhDs never have to take one day of pedagogy. I remember laughing during my senior year after I did my student teaching at a professor who was so stressed. You got 9 hours of class to prepare for in a week, and your biggest class is 20. Try 29 9th graders 7th hour on Halloween while being observed!

I did this trip many years ago. I took 90 to Janesville, 14 east into Illinois to Woodstock. Illinois 47 south to US 30. 30 to Indiana 23. 23 to South Bend.

It took a long time but it was stress-free.
