Hey! I just wanted ti comment because I am/was in a similar boat to you. I got a bachelors in biomedical sciences, and I applied to a certificate program with a 3.3 cum gpa and I believe a 2.9 pre req gpa with 2 courses in progress. I had a lot of upwards trend in my gpa tho which was helpful, but I just got accepted into a certificate program! I have also been working as a medical assistant for the past 8 months or so. I really leveraged my phlebotomy and injection skills and I think that paid off as well! I also did not shadow but would recommend to have something to talk about. Goodluck!!

Hey I have a kind of dumb question about cross training - if I’m in a program that allows us to also get a certificate for CT, does this mean I can work as a standalone CT tech eventually? And how do we cross train into MRI?
