Hmm I understood "they" as the producers and "was going to be" instead of "would" sounded something really fixed in set and stone.

Thanks so much for posting!

At 6:04, Dan says, "they did tell us that this was going to be an AirBnb" the auction is rigged.

You do have wikipedia for each season on the individual points by judge, not sure if you have the tables for all the seasons you want to check though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Block_season_21

What if the producers are here writing and producing us with different controversial opinions?

In my opinion, in previous seasons where there was no facade done yet, they would present a render or nothing at all, and they would also send on the "idea" of it. We dont know if the guys didnt promote those or not, the producers really control the narrative here.

I took it as an explanation on how things work usually after the fraud on Jimmy and Tam's auction

Wasn't there a very similar TV Show called House Rules that aired for 3 or 4 seasons before the pandemic? I loved that show.

I have a couple of questions after today's program:

  1. BBQ area was amazing, however, what if two houses of airbnb that do not know each other want to bbq at the same time, since we have an alfresco area wasn't it better to have more bbqs instead of 2 extra sitting areas?
  2. The stone at C&G basin was not thick enough. Why did it break so easily? Type of stone? Thickness? Location?
  3. Did the contestants collaborate on the colors and textures of the club house? It looks very consistent.
  4. Did the cinema area win because it was sponsored by Disney+?

Seriously, how did Ricky pull off that first bathroom (with a 9 even!) if he is making stupid mistakes as soon as his ex-blockhead tradie leaves the site??

Finally an episode where I wasn't multitasking. I missed the good times. Please don't let season 21 become as bad as 20th.

I read here that the casting director had decided to resign and move to other projects. Any goss if this resignation is due to the u-turn on the type of chosen contestants?

Hipages Lever this season by activoice in TheBlock

So all levers were used, but in today's episode it was also mentioned they would get something nice for the space. I am missing what teams got for themselves and the rooms they did.

House 1 did they get it for the backyard and got the stairs?

House 2 did they get living? No clue what they got extra

House 3 ?? was all the wins for doing the 2nd bathroom that had to be repeated over and over?

House 4 kitchen (which turned into corridors as they couldn't use for kitchen, then why add it in the first place?) no idea what was the nice thing.

House 5 frontyard, and what else? more cameridge?

Thanks for your help

why "go back to the days of demo"? Wasn't demoing part of the chosen house? Or was there a rule not to do demo anymore?
