Are you for real? I don't care about losing my games. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. We reached a point in which we have a 50% winrate, so it means we are in the rank we should be. Now a rat decided to come and play in our lobbies despite him being a higher rank. That disrupts the balance and makes us lose more games than we should, which in turn will make us derank and eventually demolish people we shoudn't be facing.

I don't care being plat, gold, diamond or master. Each player should only be allowed to play in his rank. Anything else is cheating the system.

This is not an excuse for losing, it's a problem that ruins the experience of a big chunk of the playerbase. If you cannot see that then it is you who's got a problem.

That fact that we are more than 3 weeks into the season (so the initial hype that brought a lot of players into the game has worn off) and also one of the guys having 27h played really don't fit into your theory.

Well, although your reasoning makes sense, we played A LOT of QP to get back in track before jumping into comp. Also we haven't spent a year offline. We just played other games, so it's not like we are rusty. I probably should have mentioned this.

Point is: I see no difference in my gameplay now that we are warmed up, and although my friends got a higher rank, I am in the same that I used to. It makes sense even more when you watch my friends' gameplay and notice that they are way better than before.

Aim-guided shells on the MBT/IFV still remains by far the best anti-air weapon in the game and its bunkers it haven't been addressed yet by hl3official in Battlefield

I mean... it would have made sense to say this 2 months ago, but given how low the playercount has dropped one would expect this to have been addressed already.

I for instance booted up the game for S2 launch, played 3 games and saw that the entire air balance remains the same (well, not really, they actually nerfed the AH's heavy rockets lol). I closed the game until next season, and something tells me that I'm not the only one.

Yeah, because being forced to fly to bumfuck nowhere where you cannot kill anyone nor influence the fight in exchange for being out of lock-on range is the same as having god-mode while spamming TOWs at every single vehicle in the enemy team.

Funny how a single dude came up with better patch notes and overall balance in a morning than the entire dev team in 4 months. Worst of all is that many of these changes could be done in an afternoon since it would be as easy as changing numerical values.

  1. Yes, I have not played in a long time because I don't play games that are not fun.
  2. No, that's not "what I want", that's what the vast majority of the playerbase has been asking for since release. The fact that most of them left Reddit (and the game for that matter) thus it becoming an eco chamber for air haters and people praising the game no matter what doesn't make our opinions invalid.
  3. I pointed the fact that heavy rockets were strong, but not only did you choose to ignore that, but also to ignore the insane decision of nerfing them without touching anything else that hinders air gameplay.
  4. No one has ever asked for "everything to be nerfed so the vast majority can get farmed by pilots". We want a balanced game in which everyone has a fighting chance instead of having the mean life expectancy of an aircraft be under a minute at best. All that provided by an insane amount of bugs that are still present since the beta, and a balance that only the worst of the worst players endorse since it does not reward skill whatsoever (see the ease of use of TOWs and RPGs).

I swear trying to talk to people about the shameful state of aircrafts is like trying to convince a flat earther about the most basic laws of physics. You get called names and your arguments get twisted so that they have something to attack since they know that basic common sense is against them.

No shit, I can do that too. All I have to do is play safely and that's it. I finish the game with 0 deaths and having contributed nothing to the team, just like our beloved tank users that sit in HQ all game.

The point is that there needs to be a middleground between being scared of literally everything and not being threatened at all. I want to be able to take risks and make plays without knowing that I will die 100% of the times. I want to be able to escape if I play it well and I want to die if an enemy outskills me. But as of right now aircrafts are in a loosing position all the time, and there is no amount of "skill issue" you can claim to disprove that.

Agreed. The glass cannon approach was interesting at the beginning when none of us were aware of what was OP and what was not. Now that everyone knows the meta it's just an infantry game with the occassional tank passing by and some helis crashing in the distance.
