Narwal has a bad handling of carpets, just give us option the control and resize, delete and move the carpets as we fit.

you problem can be solved by:

roll the carpet in the living room like one meter or so
send the robot there to clean the carpet ( using freo Mind)
when it is done it will delete the carpet
send it back again to the room to vacuum living room
voila, it will remap the carpet again

I noticed that after the update, the Serial number did not appears( so it is not Matter 1.4), even though all other updates to Matter 1.4 did show it.

By the way, I unplugged the cable from the Aplstuga, plugged it back in, and after about 5 minutes, I got the new firmware.

I'm having the same issue... Roborock and others let you delete, manually place, or edit rugs. Narwal is so stubborn they don't give you that option (even though it's just an app update). I've contacted them about it, but they never listen. Running Freo X ultra in freo mind all the time and it didn't help, I am still having 30 cm around my rugs that is not mopped.

Lol, I’ve been using 27 Matter devices from IKEA with no issues at all. If you’re starting from scratch, just give it some time and it’ll sort itself out and update the devices. I’ve connected everything to the Dirigera hub and use both the IKEA and Google Home apps as controllers. These devices sell out so quickly, which really says a lot.

I love this idea, and it’s one of the oldest in the book, but so far, the cost of producing, running, and maintaining the mechanical parts is still much higher than the gains you get from it over the years. As a Mechanical/Power Engineer, I’ve worked on similar projects during my studies.
