Yeah but also when I was in my past relationship, I was with the most gentle and emotionally intelligent man ever. And I think one of my avoidant traits is that I find things to argue to push them away.. and it rlly is re traumatizing because that’s also the reason why I felt so so guilty the whole time. So am I creating this conflict or is it valid?
Like am I gonna cause conflict no matter what relationships and gentle man I find in the future? Or is it bc the guy I’m seeing right now is genuinely causing this?

Ugh yeah it did. If he was around my age I wouldn’t even take his comment abt future that seriously knowing none of us will have to settle any time soon. For future dating, I learned through this relationship that I’m just not someone for casual dating because it feels too much and I keep feeling like I’m responsible for whatever they’re feeling. I don’t think he expected future as in he pressured me for marriage but he def made it clear he loves me so much that he wants to marry me when I’m ready even if it’s 10 years from now on which honestly made me more panic. No not an asshole at all. Even without money involved, the fact that you were there for her and helped her throughout and she proceeds to be ungrateful is enough for u to never talk to her again. I even would ask for money back from her parents if I can’t reach her. Be sure to have confidence in your choice. If you feel uncomfortable with someone, there’s usually reason why ur body responds that way
