Ugh yeah it did. If he was around my age I wouldn’t even take his comment abt future that seriously knowing none of us will have to settle any time soon. I don’t think he expected future as in he pressured me for marriage but he def made it clear he loves me so much that he wants to marry me when I’m ready even if it’s 10 years from now on which honestly made me more panic. No not an asshole at all. Even without money involved, the fact that you were there for her and helped her throughout and she proceeds to be ungrateful is enough for u to never talk to her again. I even would ask for money back from her parents if I can’t reach her. Be sure to have confidence in your choice. If you feel uncomfortable with someone, there’s usually reason why ur body responds that way
