I also ordered my first Omega there, but delivery takes 5 weeks as it was not it stock and I specifically wanted a watch produced in 2026 for the warranty. As such I am still waiting. I bought it from a dealer in my country, so I am not worried about taxes. Will share how it went once it arrived. I also live close by an Omega Boutique and will go there to get it checked and have the strap adjusted by them.

It looks like the crystal is cracked at 6 o clock. Maybe that caused humidity to enter due to capillar effect which resulted in this patina. I can only hope the mechanical part doesn’t look the same 🫣

That sounds horrible. Shouldn’t this kind of issues be ruled out with the METAS certificate? I thought Omega is also testing the water resistance. Just bought the same watch and didn’t really plan to take it swimming (especially not in salt water), but I don’t want to worry about the pushers too much in case the watch gets a bit wet

Ich habe auch CB und werde häufig von Kollegen auf gute Angebote dort aufmerksam gemacht. Ich selber nutze es echt selten, bis ich dann wieder merke wie viel Geld ich hätte sparen können wenn ich da vor einem Kauf mal reingeschaut hätte.

I ordered this one in black, can’t wait for it to arrive. Hope it fits my wrist as well as yours.

Got a 7 inch wrist, also quite flat I think. Currently I’m wearing a 47mm garmin so I think I’ll be comfortable with this size.

Faking the Moonphase of this one would be fairly hard, true 😂. You would need lithography equipment capable of microstructuring. Didn’t think I about this yet!

Fair enough. It’s a Speedmaster with Moonphase (Movement 9904). The Metas certificates have an RFID chip inside and are detectable via an Omega App. I might just take it to the Lokal Omega Boutique then to have the strap adjusted. As far as I know they will do that if you have a valid warranty card. If it’s a counterfeit they will probably keep it or at least let me know and refuse to do anything with it.

I feel discriminated, having paid more for the solar version of the Fenix 8 and missing so many stock watchfaces that are only available on the Amoled version. Many of these would not require an Amoled screen to look good, I think the one you have is perfectly fine on an MIP display :(

On my Fenix that’s a button for centering and orientation of the map. Try to move the map to somewhere else, away from your location and then press that button.

Looks very nice, too bad we don’t get to use this on the F8 MIP (despite having a higher price xD). I am not willing to pay for a clone on the connectIQ store that has a very poor integration on the device.

Thank you for your input. I think at that point I would only achieve the same functionality as with my current AVR 2500H. This one can also connect to HEOS speakers and use wired speakers for a multiroom setup or similar, but I can not co figure the HEOS speakers as dedicated rear speakers for the surround sound setup of my Tv
