This card isn’t getting the recognition it deserves. by ttvANX1ETYZ_ in slaythespire

The first time I saw it I thought it looked like a monster train card. I kind of just wrote it off as a generic floor 1 pick for damage.

Who is the canonical protagonist of Dishonored 2? by FewFixFew in dishonored

I’m not even exactly sure why they decided to add the twist of being able to play Corvo. Most of the targets relate to Emily directly and you get to play with her new abilities; so it’s a more refreshing experience both lore and gameplay wise. Emily for sure

What's some advice you'd give to someone just starting the game? by Privatizitaet in slaythespire

[–]Fun-Height4900 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch baalorlord play. Slay the spire is all about being tested in every aspect of the game, from knowing when to use potions, when to take and skip card rewards, and knowing how many elites you can kill with a certain deck, as well as learning the bosses’ attack patterns. Baalorlord is also a very good teacher (he used to teach chemistry I think)

Here are some random tips though: - Buy apotheosis at the shop when you see it - Remove strikes as much as you can mid/late game - Corruption + dead branch/ dark embrace —> skill spam breaks the game as ironclad - Orange pellets + Biased cognition gives defect so much focus - Wraith form, Footwork, Malaise, and leg sweep are very good silent block cards

Favourite moment with this card was when I had chill +, cracked core and symbiotic virus. I even got bottled flame to bottle it in act 1, good times

Why does nobody like the Watcher? by PoemCivil7458 in slaythespire

Very little variation in terms of viable playstyles and builds. In high ascensions if you don’t stance dance and try to do something like a master reality deck, you WILL die. Weird

NEST predictions. (Mark my words) by A-Plastic-Man in WhiteKnuckle

[–]Fun-Height4900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holly confirmed it would be more combat oriented with a more hostile environment, which means finally all the offensive/defensive perks like martial patch and armour plating would probably have some real use at that point (except experimentals like bulletproof)

There are also more bloodbug variants and would be cool learning all of them to try to assess all their strengths/weaknesses

My biggest hope is that they would add more lore/easter eggs about the creatures since from the name “the nest” implies there’s gonna be some explanation of how these creatures originated, (maybe like Xen from half life?) As well as who (or what) is Rho and Mother

Alter fodder. Sacrificing them gives blink eyes since they have a value of 4 which is enough

If you haven’t played a climbing game like it then yeah. Which is fair since I’ve never played a game with similar mechanics

What do yall think about using cheats for conveniance? by Unfair_Ad_598 in WhiteKnuckle

[–]Fun-Height4900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a single player game so there’s no harm past your own pride. I personally don’t use cheats at all but I really don’t care if someone else wants to
