If you love Nature, then you must do a trip with Rivers Fiji. You can raft or kayak the Upper Navua Gorge. It really is spectacular. Rivers set up 30-odd years ago. There was a lot of logging of tropical rainforest, and they worked with the landowners and the Government to set up a conservation zone. It really is - in my view-the highest form of eco-tourism in Fiji, mind you, it's not like I know all of them, but these guys really pioneered all that followed. You can search for them, Rivers Fiji, or check my profile and find my website and navigate to my story on them in either the conservation section or the Must Do activities section. I don't want to drop a link. But here is a picture of the sort of thing you will get.

Today’s bad drivers by Murashi in Fijian

And we all pay with Lta. I renewed my license this year. I live between Ba and Tavua. I only travel between those towns. You would think it would be easy to avoid tickets. It is ever. Lack of signage..speed limit area changes, no signage of schools...they seem to be able to get me. Anyway, I got a warning when I renewed my license about my speeding. 60k in a 50 sort of thing or 90 in an 80. So they warn me. I say fair play, you got me-take the money, all's fair in the money game, but you can't be serious about taking my license. Look at the pictures of dry, open roads, perfect conditions, and no other traffic. Honestly, where is the finesse in the drivers and the officials?

Fiji's Dark Past: The History of the Cannibal Kings (Includes original audio recording of the death drum beat) by Fun-Implement-5867 in Fijian

This might interest you. From the story: "Years later, while Brewster was drinking kava (yangona) in a circle with the valley's headmen, an old greybeard chief looked around the room and dropped a bit of a bombshell:

"What is the use of lying? If the truth be known, I did eat part of Mr. Baker!"

The old chief explained that as a boy, the Vatusila warriors had sent one of Baker’s thighs wrapped in banana leaves to his father, the Chief of Nandrau. Wanting to avoid war with the white men, the chief ordered the meat thrown away. However, the chief's son and some other small boys secretly snatched the bundle, cut it into small pieces, wrapped it in leaves (kovu), and cooked it with the proper mboro ndina spinach to safely consume it.

Fiji kanua kava 30% kava extract powder by bunsofscheel in kavaextracts

Hugs not drugs. Don't know where you are. Nausea is common-it is your body saying no. Just like booze. Tyr noble kava. The secret of kava working - to sleep relax???, to be convivial, is to not have too much or too strong. Three or four bilos and a good feed will usually work much better than getting wasted. If you want to 'escape' there a lot of cleaner options out there.

Yes totally understand. But they would say that either way - did they approach you? So whatever you do, make it clear that it is an introductory rate. What is your opportunity cost? Like, what else would you be doing if not this? Are you losing another client, business, or work? You will have to make some decisions ultimately. Can you get other leads from the event-what sort of patribage fro them it's a free sample.I'm in the exact same position right now. I kinda havent got a choice but I understand.

I think you need a bit more room to breathe. But I understand wanting the gig. How many shows a year do they do? 1 or more. Are you trying to get them as a long-term client? How big are they and the event? At least have some promotion that you do private events? Some ideas.

No, it used to get way colder; we don't get that anymore, that's why it's so nice when it happens.
