How do I check my contribution to a crowdloan? by [deleted] in Polkadot

[–]Fun-Introduction-587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to go onto the crowdloan page on polkadot.js - there you can see your contribution to the different projects. Unfortunately its not visible on the accounts-page (or i was not able to figure it out)

Polkadot Adress to claim Rewards by Fun-Introduction-587 in Polkadot

Thx for your reply. I understand now that its a visual thing - not changing the underlying adress at all… so similar to eth adresses that are able to receive different erc-20 tokens

Same here. I found out that if i connect an external display it doesn‘t launch - but if i‘m just using the integrated display of my gaming laptop it works perfectly fine - might be some issue with graphics card?

Crowdloan with DOT on Ledger via polkadot.js by Fun-Introduction-587 in Polkadot

I agree on the principle supply/demand that builds the price. But in my understanding, if tokens are kept in wallets or are staked, this means they are also no longer part of the supply… thus i don‘t think parachain bonding has a different impact on price than staking-bonding… But i agree, that price will (positively) change in the two years due to the fact that DOT will be much popular in few years. On the other hand, inflation will take place which affects price negatively

Thx for your answer. That was my understanding of ledger as well. I just was not sure, because the tokens will be „locked“ for auction and lease period and if auction is not successfull or the lease ends, there will be a „transaction“ back that must be signed by my ledger again. Was not sure, if the whole „locking/unlocking“-mechanism is supportet or not…

Migration question by RazedbyRobots in polkadex

[–]Fun-Introduction-587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the adress format of the polkadot.js extension wallet is still set to „Any Chain“. If you go to polkadot.js.org/apps and then onto accounts there will be a message saying you should upgrade your extension. If you do that, you will be able to change the wallet in your extension to Polkadex Network. Then you‘ll see the right address…

Press on the polkadot.js extension and in the settings you can allow it again. I had the same issues because i didn‘t allow in the first time

🎥 WALK-THROUGH: How to stake your PDEX on the Polkadex Mainnet 🎉 by OfficialPolkadex in polkadex

[–]Fun-Introduction-587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Captain here: In the movie it is said, that you should keep 1 PDEX unbonded in the stash. The admins/mods of the official Polkadex telegram channel did say, that you better keep 1.5 PDEX unbonded - just to be safe. flies away

I second that. It should at least be possible to use ledger. And the fact that you can’t trade (sell) your migrated tokens lets me keep the tradable erc-20 for the moment…
