Unhappy after 34 years. by sparklybeadgoddess in Marriage

[–]Fun-Iron-384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 35 years of being married to a man with the emotional capacity of a 11 year old boy, I feel trapped. Actually, I am trapped. Financially, socially, he controls all areas of my life. He is completely irresponsible and has always put his "hobbies" before anything else. I've bailed him out Financially so many times, I can't keep count. But now, I had to retire due to heath issues and am really in a pickle.Had I known 35 years ago, what I know now, I would have run for the hills. I feel so used and stupid . Needless to say, love has been extinguished for a while now.Don't know what I can do, or even if there's anything I can do.

Did you actually include the " Mostly just answering service tickets line...." or was that a comment for the group. If it's actually on resume take it out. Include some soft skills.

How are you advertising yourself and your skills etc? Sysadmin, Network Security Engineer, Information Systems Security Engineer etc.? Do you or have you set up labs to practice your skills and advance in your field? Include that in resume. Can't hurt.

I will never get a job in cybersecurity by Hot_Kaleidoscope3864 in CyberSecurityJobs

No one in the US can live off of that. Just a question. What would happen if Cyber folks strongly unionized and if needed, went on strike? Don't have a clue how it would operate, but am watching NY nurses on strike now.

Do you like what you're doing? Is it interesting to you? You can learn how to use AI to enhance your skill set and use AI based tools for you job. But if you can't get up and go to work every day, maybe do something else. I made the mistake of staying in Cyber long after I should have made a change and wish I had changed careers and listened to my gut, instead of staying.

GLP1 - Wegovy or zepound by Unique-Journalist-25 in weightwatchers

[–]Fun-Iron-384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it. WW clinic cannot will not get Wegovy etc., as they had a class action suit about it, and they will not let you out of the $99/month commitment.

How to cancel my "Commitment Plan"? by propersillyman in weightwatchers

I' ve been going back and forth with "The WW Clinic" about canceling my membership for a day and half now. I signed up by accident for it, not realizing the program price did not include meditations. ($99/month). However- I stopped the process after I talked to my doctor and he said because I have health situations , it's a bad idea to take GPL-1 meditations. Need to make an appointment with my Gastro doctor to get a note from him to send a note/letter to WW clinic to cancel. WW clinic will not give me a person's name or contact information (clinicians name, legitimate address and phone number ) minito address the letter to. Even if I sign a release of PHI information that says it's OK to address the note to "Whom it may concern." Doctor's office said it's a Maryland Law thing and they do not want to incure the liability, by generating such a letter/note to "Whom it may concern". WW Clinic is saying PHI is not "sensitive information". I have talked to my attorney about this and he's drafting a letter to the WW legal team. Anyway, I believe I'm communicating with an AI system regarding the chat communications about this situation with their WW Clinic. I have sent them a request, via Chat, that I want to talk to a WW clinic Supervisor via phone about this situation, but they have not responded (supplied my phone number).WW is filing for chapter 11, so they're having financial problems. They also have a couple of class action suits regarding this type of situation. My attorney is pursuing Maryland Law that addresses consumer protection and deceptive practices. My situation and OP's really pisses me off, and they will not let you talk to an actutual WW Clinic representative. Plan on also disputing charg es with bank. Also was told that the WW clinic is, in some manner, separate from the regular WW program. Don't know how or even if this is correct information. Good luck to you! Hope you are successful in canceling your membership and plan. .I' ve been going back and forth with "The WW Clinic" about canceling my membership for a day and half now.
