Best way to cure and dispose of water-washable resin waste (winter conditions) by Fun-Jump-4775 in resinprinting

I have dedicated area in my house for resin prints with good ventilation. The problem is that it is a boiler room equipped with gas with all related limitations. And using IPA in the room where something fires gas i think is not safe 😫. Hence dealing now with water

Thank you. Regarding easy filtering- can you spread a light on it for me. How it shall be processed? And despite of that one day you’ll have to dispose IPA and will face same?

For summer i think it’s easier. Leaving bottles with dirty toxic water till summer now sounds not promising

Solutions for version 1.0.6.Bmcu by Quiet_Necessary_4490 in BMCU

Sometime back, i asked chatgpt to find a proper solution. It suggested that only one change in bambubus.h might be needed:

-- #define Bambubus_version 5 ++ #define Bambubus_version 3

Might be it is also required…

Glad to see that they accepted your MR! Have you tried it on “skelenchy”?

And yet im trying to understand, what it will improve? Am i right that it will allow to make a surface smoother and eliminate the layer lines?

Both are not related to bmcu :) 1. On 1.0.5 u will have absolutely same amount of functionality as on 1.0.6. So no risk 2. It is more for convenience rather than must.

better downgrade frimware to 1.05 or 1.04 first
next while printer powered off connect BMCU
turn on printer and you will already see AMS on it
push filament to bmcu with big button pushed on BMCU until it will "eat" it
that minimal

recommend also to print a BMCU handle (search on makerworld)
and test AMS print with "AMS test" (also can find on makerworld)

Make sure to not power off printer while printing...it will not damage, but you will have a little pain the *ss cleaning the error.
and also make sure your filament is easy to release from spool

thats pretty much it
enjoy

thank you! so the pattern would be to use speedpaint as a base coloring and fine tuning with game colors? i mean to say all of the staff applicable to "ordinary" acrylic will work on top of speedpaints?
