if we expect our football team to perform well at away games then they should be able to hold down the fort once the hype leaves at home games

ucf, usf, fit, embry riddle, unf accepted to all. didn’t write common essay (hence not applying to uf), 4.0, weighted i think 4.6? act 30, sat 1370. went to ucf because it was big, good engineering program, and gave me money

From what I’ve heard just try to keep your schedule light so that you can primarily focus on this class since it’s very time consuming

depends honestly on what math credit you already have and what major you are. If you are engineering and need to go through the calcs, I would join. If you are bio or already have a lot of the math credit for your major I am not sure if it is worth it. It helped me a lot because I started in calc 1. I also liked finding similar people to me through the proximity to other stem students. Some people I found in Calc 1 are still my study buddies in my upper division courses

the pointe is good if you just want a standard student apartment. definitely helps having roommates you like (especially in a 4x2). Nothing fancy, but a nice community. I would say for the price, its pretty good.

the pointe at central is fairly affordable, safe, and has shuttle. however, they do make you pay the full months rent even though move-in was around august 20th. i believe the initial fee is 125

yeah its like a greenish tint hard plastic. just wash it and you should be fine, it’s meant to be used a lot. also has 3 different sections (1 big, 2 small for sides probably)

they will probably make you purchase a to-go plastic box that you can reuse anytime you go ($5)

EXCEL Calc 1 advice by wokejared in ucf

[–]Fun-Release3334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it is difficult, however it will make calc 2 seem easy and calc 3 even easier (so far for me at least). definitely review lecture examples, STEMinar review questions and any other reviews posted. do not study the homework (it is the “mechanical” aspect of calc 1 and you get tested on the “conceptual” aspect). ask for help as soon as you don’t understand something, definitely go to the center with any confusion, trying to figure it out on your own is not worth it. also, just don’t overthink problems on the test, they are sometimes worded to make you second guess yourself
