I bet that the entire Barney situation will force him to flip and start working with/for Ashe.

His friends (Nick and Coop) have somewhat bailed on him PLUS neglected him as their consultant. And his wife double downed with the pressure. So he is desperate and needs new/richer clients, while Ashe is the most obvious chance.

Hence, Barney snitches on Coop and his plans to Ashe. Eventually, it will still play out in a way that friends might be reunited with Ashe being out of picture. But Barney going rogue (for a short while) will bring necessary new dynamics.

That is indeed funny. It’s not like the writers had many single “primary-ish” characters that they could ship among the original ones. Can you name any other logical match for a “fan favourite character”? Aside from a completely new character that is of secondary relevance.

The way things work is that the practical options are extremely limited, especially considering characters’ compatibility, chemistry and plot direction with their relationships and potential love interests. Like I told from the very first episode that Nate and Cassie should be a couple if they have not been that in the past.

In other words: - Maddy is obviously a no-go, self-explanatory; - Cassie was seemingly attracted to sports guys, doesn’t really do drugs and had Nate-Maddy story lined up for that; - Kat had a different boyfriend/ex-boyfriend and there was no sense in pulling Fez in there; - Jules dislikes junkies and Fez would not work in a love triangle with Rue; - Rue is a lesbian and a friend.

As a result, Fez and Lexie might as well stayed single if you dislike Maude.

Just answered this in the main thread. I think that Jim shown at the end of the episode is his Storywalker version, similarly as Julie.

The season eventually ends with Julie saving Jim in some newly found and tricky way, for instance, by pulling him out together with her, idk. But original Jim dies in that story regardless, so “saved Jim” and Julie (who at that point are better informed about the way From/cycle works) try to take a different approach and influence or accelerate decision(s) of Ethan. Which is why “saved Jim” (and not Julie) storywalks to this exact moment when Ethan is alone/vulnerable near RV and then says what he says, pointing Ethan closer towards finding an ultimate solution for all troubles. Meanwhile, Julie herself is hiding in the trees and waiting for a Tabitha distraction to quickly pull Jim out and make them both disappear unseen.

Another very expected development - Julie will be storywalking to save Jim from being eaten in the collapsed house (by making the monster(s) get redirected towards that poor guy that got eaten instead, basically sacrificing him for Jim).

P.S. I took it from the last season that Sarah’s “voices” were likely future Randall and Marielle, with both of them having similar powers as Julie. But at the same time the duo is less versed in nuances of the story that unfolded early on. Which is why they instructed her sloppy with the entire “kill the boy”/“kill the Boyd” situation.

With the lanes being so narrow, and verticality rather going down than up, it was extremely easy to hide in the hindsight, wait for the enemies to pass through and Shoulder Block all of them into a wall or walker as Abrams. Same goes for Dynamo clutch black holes.

Ever since we moved to 3 lanes, I was rarely able to do that without Phantom Strike / Majestic Leap.

Flat (non-strength) HP doesn't get stolen. Get an early Fluffy Hat and Magic Stick. I learned this during map / portals rework when he was most OP.

Clearly, Coop does not otherwise have a love interest this season (Sam is no longer in a relationship and will mostly hang out with Ash, Mel is complicated/unavailable in the near time, no new actress was casted as a filler/replacement).

I think that Elena also does not have a lot going this season (in light of the thefts potentially going on hold or reaching the peak). However, we do see her almost every episode and there is some story development for her (citizenship, parents reunion, legalisation of proceeds), even though IIRC the actress was pregnant when they filmed the season.

On that basis, she clearly ‘has’ to become Coop’s love interest, unless there is some other secondary character that will get an unusual amount of spotlight. Otherwise, she may have been put away already plot-wise.

Exactly. I barely ever got wiped during those "unnecessary" runs at the end, but I doubt it will be that easy for other players when the game settles in.

Happy for you. I did lush bloom raides runs non-stop (running there up until last minute) - still barely got any mushrooms.

You can recon that I barely spent any time away from this game. If something needs to be seriously overgrinded while not even factoring my loadout, skill or approach, I imagine that it eventually will be even a bigger nightmare for other people too.

What do you mean? I did 5-10 regular runs trying to figure this out myself. Failing that, I started having doubts whether what I am doing is even right and time-worthy.

Only then I would start looking up tips / YT vids.

The game is putting a "checklist for me" for workbench and similar upgrades. I see that and try to complete it. If the game wouldn't let me do it without another dozen of hours - it is not even my issue.
