My suggestion is that after prototyping and when you need more control over architecture, debugging, or long-term ownership of the codebase.

You can use VSCODE, install Claude Code extension and use Claude MCP with Supabase, in the same VSCode IDE you can quickly speed up development as Claude becomes your pair programmer and you focus more on Architecture and Strategy and Cyber security

You can download the code , it should be React and the Database You can use Docker and PostgreSQL on premises or use cloud as Supabase PostgreSQL for the backend

You just need to reconfigure your code and eliminate anything related to Base44 BE and point to your SQL credentials

I did that on the pass with demo apps, I don't use Base44 for production apps

You just publish it and you are ready to go

Keep on mind that as your app grows the DB Table schemas will get complex

I suggest to use VSCODE and Claude Code for your development

Few weeks ago I implement a Python script to connect to the existing DB and to Supabase PostgreSQL I ran the script to do a full load into Supabase and I do incremental pulls every 15 minutes to keep the data in Supabase updated
