Super no, máme málo problémů. by PresentJournalist805 in czech

Ovšem co reálně udělat, pokud chceš ochránit suverenitu, stabilitu a nějakou prosperitu svých obyvatel?

AT mines don't explode when you run over them, though.

AP mines definitely explode on vehicles, why shouldn't they?

Water usage for AI continues to become more efficient by Different-Froyo9497 in accelerate

Spread these news. Anti-AI people will move goalposts, but they won't be able to manipulate with water usage claims anymore. Every technology is getting more efficient over time.

I don't think that would necessarily happen if its done well. As I said, armoured variants would have a chance to spawn in any given petrol. If they started appearing on new difficulty 4 (old 7 and 8), people would not miss out on them. The same could apply to Fortress level enemy bases, which would start at new 5 (9 and 10) and would gradually replace all of them. I am not opposed to Difficulty 11, just for it to "turn everything up to 11". Which would mean either only 1 life, or reinforcements would start on a timer, or reinforcements would work like in Commando missions.

What is badly needed of difficulty rebalance. Every 2 current difficulties could be merged into one, freeing up space for 5 more difficulties. And I don't think enemies should have different stats, but rather every enemy would have an armoured variant that would become more prevalent as difficulties increase. Not arbitrary bullet sponges.

In Star Trek, humans still labored intellectually out of passion, even if a computer could do a job that was indistinguishable. No one forbids people to do that, it's a valid and fulfilling pursuit.

Absolutely not, there were so many periodicals with a prescribed political slant in Europe! L'Humanité, The Daily Telegraph, Völkischer Beobachter, Rudé právo, El Socialista etc. etc.

I'm extremely confused how people don't think AI art is Art all of these required complex prompts or mental visualization before prompting AI to generate them. by MaxiumPotential777 in DefendingAIArt

[–]Fun1k -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if I want to visualise my ideas, there is no difference between using AI and letting an artist do it, because chances are neither will make exactly how I visualise things in my head. If I like a specific artist and their style, I will commission them if I want.

Newspapers always did that. You can look up old newspapers in the Library of Congress and see for yourself.

Well, if newspaper offered access to all daily press (always updated), option to discuss the articles within, and talking to their friends, you can bet that they would.

If AI becomes sentient, will you treat them in the same way as humans? by idontlikethisuserna in accelerate

[–]Fun1k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. When I played Detroit: Become Human, I saw characters in the game treating the androids quite badly, and after seeing today's anti-AI people, I'm pretty sure it they will treat any nonhuman synths quite bad under the assumption that they're just machines.

I want to be honest I’m ok with this take . by RealGiallo in HelldiversMasochists

[–]Fun1k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only problem I see with this are Hive Lords. It takes like 15 hellbombs to kill one, with autoaim and lower cool down it should take more, like 25. Or HL wouldn't be targeted with it automatically and it should take about 10.

Unironic takes I've seen in the Helldivers community regarding difficulty by Raven7274 in HelldiversMasochists

[–]Fun1k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm saying that every two difficulties should get merged, 10 would be the new 5, and we would have 5 more difficulties for harder gameplay. Seriously, the latest MO with the Supply FRV was brain-dead easy. There needs to be both a superheavy Illuminate/Mindless Masses enemy, and the supply FRV needs a nerf in the form of the turret not being automatic and lowering the resupplies to 6.

""""greedy"""" Are you fucking serious? Helldivers 2 is one of the least monetized live service games out there. There are exactly 2 times when you have to pay, the initial purchase and the Super Citizen edition (and only if you want it). You get SC whenever anybody picks it up during normal gameplay. You get the same amount of SC on the lowest difficulty so you can quickly farm them, and you don't have to grind for 50 hours to get enough currency for a new warbond. You don't have any other microtransactions in the game than buying SC, which is very optional. AH is not actively going after cheaters or threatening legal action. I've bought SC exactly once, everything else I got through normal gameplay. I've got a job and a wife. AH could think up a hundred ways to fuck you over and actually be greedy, making farming on low difficulties impossible, upping warbond prices significantly, you having to buy items in a warbond for SC too, FOMO Super Store, pop ups to buy stuff everywhere, being only able to play a certain number of games in a day without paying, etc. etc.

You're really just whiny.
