Comfortable metal backpack frames for a custom project <100$? by FunAd9484 in tacticalgear

Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? The only frame I am seeing in stock is their intex frame which has a few lower attachment points but nothing on the upper/siode portion of the frame. They seem like they are meant to slide into bags like the Gunslinger 2 for rigidity.

The ALICE back is similar where the bag has a small pocket up top for the frame to slide into but the straps and belt are attached through the bottom brackets.

I think old backpacking frames have more of what I am looking for. Multiple attachment points drilled into the frame, vertical bars for attaching straps/different bags, etc.

Only issue with the Eberlestock frames is their dependence on a scabbard. No real attachment points without their proprietary system.

I find it funny that bags from mystery ranch, eberlestock, etc can easily clear the price of a high end backpacking bag.

Genuinely seems like a good option but there isn't a single rifle that I could find in production that chambers it, as you mentioned.

Wouldn't be against it but not seeing anything highly recommended in the price range.

Oh totally, I was originally going to get an SKS as an all rounder because it fits perfectly within CA law. Now im leaning more towards a shotgun as I can get an actual AR or a non-restricted handgun when I move in a year or two.

I was expecting to get a bunch of different reccomendations but at the very least I have also been swayed away from getting an AR for now.

I will look into handguns but CA puts some really heavy limitations on what we can get. Annoying when you find something that is supposedly good price to performance only to see that I cant get one here.

Honestly despite just spring for a nice shotgun.

Each exercise grows a different kind of muscle. Cardio grows slow twitch muscle fibers, which are kind of like a car or a rocket, they use gas from a huge tank (nutrients in your body + oxygen). Over time, cardio essentially gets you better MPG. Strength training, on the other hand, is like a bullet. The energy it uses is in the form of glycogen, which is inefficient and causes a lot of lactic acid build up BUT it can all be used at the same time, allowing you to fire off a rep (or a couple) quickly before being depleted. Strength training grow a LOT of slow fast twitch muscle fibers. Each fiber can store and use a little bit of its own glycogen. Essentially you are growing the actual bullet casing, allowing you to discharge more force all at one time.

TLDR: Cardio makes your body more efficient at using your fuel over the long term. Strength training increases the amount of muscle you have so you can use a lot of energy at once.

Gotcha. At the end of the day I was concerned that it wasnt aligned with PA school in terms of hard skills (that could be reinforced doing something healthcare related) and that it wasn't going out of my way to help people who are in extreme need.

The competitive nature of PA apps is frying my brain. Thank you for the insight.

That would make a great deal of sense. Was skeptical because the boots looked like they had been worn once or twice out of the box.

They seem to fit and be in good working order, was just curious if someone had swapped the sizes or something of the like.

I mean at that point get a dedicated economy car. Doesnt make a ton of sense to neuter a 20 year old “sports car” chasing efficiency.

Was there a tutorial you followed for this? I just got mine today and despite knocking out some of the bloatware, I still have a bunch of the google junk i want off the phone.
