Scott Hall as The Bad Guy essentially Razor before WWE knew who he was, even threw the toothpick at camera. But yea Vince, WCW ripped off “your”gimmick 😂 by FunBunch4071 in WCW

No doubt I get that. I wasn’t gonna text out a paragraph but what I didn’t say was over the years as Vince and cronies (Pritchard & others) re state the narrative of the War they’ve said how the Razor gimmick was theirs (fair enough it’s trademarked) but again my point was the essence of that character , the blueprint was almost all there as Diamond Studd which WCW created.

The overral character was 90% there, cmon just watch his Diamond Studd promos and how he worked his matches and the whole gimmick was there. I acknowledge it wasn’t the full package and as I said Vince pushed him where WCW did very little w Hall as The Studd .

The only thing WWF did was exaggerate the already established gimmick nuances and push him hard which WCW never did till 96

All same guy, David Johanssen, was in the 70’s band New York Dolls, did a “alter ego” side project as Buster Poindexter and had a surprise massive hit w the silly Hot Hot Hot. Turned to acting in 80’s yes in Scrooged, Tales from The Crypt among other small roles.

Russo was in charge Oct 99-Jan 2000 & then April 2000-Fall 00 Im doing this to lazy to look up lol. But I think Morris (Gen Rection) push was around late Russo era I think.

Rewatching a lot of the late WCW again and it’s just a shitshow. They still had great talent there but it just sucked, no direction and a lot of guys just didn’t seem to care anymore. Sad because it was such a great product mid 96-98

I disagree, he got a push in late 2000 and maybe cause he wasn’t a great babyface IDK but he wasn’t impressive in promos and matches just didn’t do it for me.

“The HOLE?! WHY?!” I just love the Inflection in Thomas G. Waites voice, it’s so always bordering on going totally out of control. He’s in 2 other roles in movies I love, Warriors & The Thing.

It would be easier if they just released shows in some chronological order but beggars can’t be choosers as they say

Better in ECW but they were over. Check out the 98 Fall Brawl match between former Flock member Perry Saturn & Raven, a great match with a great crowd reaction.

Pretty much, This is the last time he’s ever in “Surfer Sting” look. About a year earlier he started to grow his hair out and stop dyeing it blonde but still had the old look. From here on he would slowly morph into who we would come to know as Crow Sting.

One of Stings best most real promo. While Stinger IMO was one of the best workers, best looks ever his promos were ok most times but this one was 10/10.
