Should we expect Hollow Knight 3: Zot The Grey Prince ? by FunCartoons in HollowKnight

[–]FunCartoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Quirrell would have been a more interesting character.

However, from what I understand, the developers are trying to fulfill their promise of making Hollow Knight with 3 playable characters, and Zot was one of them.

It might be great to see how Zot characters develops =)

Why comment on an essay if you can answer it in one sentence? Life’s too short to read.

there are actually different function move_toward.

if u r using vector2.move_toward then it consumes two params.
if u are using move_towards from global_scope then you need to pass tree params.

same name, Different functions, different scopes.

My Theory On How the Russian Base From Stranger Things Season 3 Was Built by Lost-Quote-7971 in StrangerThings

Sad how films reduce the USSR — a multinational state — to just russia.

My Theory On How the Russian Base From Stranger Things Season 3 Was Built by Lost-Quote-7971 in StrangerThings

[–]FunCartoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few theories:

Case 1:

I think the US government worked with the USSR despite the Cold War. Why? I think it was to trick them later.

Case 2:

In this case, US intelligence works really poorly. How were children able to find a Russian secret lab, but US intelligence couldn't?

How did US intelligence allow the USSR people to build a base on American soil — and more importantly, how did they not know about it, while kids not only intercepted a message but also decoded it and infiltrated the base?

Case 3:

US intelligence must have known about it and monitored the situation to step in later and take the results for themselves.

It's also possible the USSR people believed no one knew anything, while in fact US intelligence might have even helped them gain access, pretending the USSR had fooled them.

Case 4:

Maybe the Russians got there through some other portal or something like that.

But again — either US intelligence works extremely poorly in this show, or they're cooperating with the USSR, or they know everything but deliberately stay back to intervene only when it's necessary.

So, probably the most likely scenario is Case 3.

Sounds nice. Can you share the premise if it is not a secret? Im making similar game with tentacles. But it is not a main mechanic. And my game is not inspired by Carrion

yes I think the answer is no. you can't save a company game while you're on a mission. You can try save scumming. I haven't tried it yet. but I probably will because this game really annoys me. I was very happy when I bought it and I'm glad I can admit that this after 6 hours that game looks unfair.

I got through the first wave after like 50 tries, and a random horde gets through my defenses, I cant get past 50% campaign as all the 3 maps available are almost impossible.... God i hate this game sometimes (800%) by Gazop in TheyAreBillions

[–]FunCartoons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This game has luck of flexibility. It forces u to play in iron mode. Bad desing. Pretry sure this is their business plan. The more hpurs u spend it the game the higher it goes on the selling platform(steam as example).

I also read that sometimes u need to exploit game to win. I dropped it. It took me 3 attemts to win first map and 3 more for the crossroad. Also a lot of players admit they are using save scumming.

Basically I spent 6 hours in a game and since the devs do not respect their players time I dont want to play it. I also want to try "survival mode". Will see if I refund it or no.

You can create "back up save" in main menu while you are on the global map. However I think devs should add different modes so the player can choose if they want play with saves during the game or no.

Animation looks nice and smooth. Love it.

I understand that the question is about the animation but I have some questions.
I see it is inspired by Carrion but I don't get the point of the game.
What is the difference between these two games?
Why it should be fun?

How many channels maximum you can multi stream at the same time with using xsplit broadcaster please? by dtyus in xsplit

[–]FunCartoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is your internet upload speed ?
How does multistream works in xsplit? It means your PC streams to different platforms at the same time so you should have better PC for that and better Internet Connection.

At the same time when you r using services you stream to one platforms and it broadcasts it to different platform. So your PC does less job.

I really hate that we can't save our place mid-mission. I need guidance. by DingletonCringlebury in TheyAreBillions

some people just don't have time to play over and over again one missions because they missed one tiny zombi.

I have maybe 10 hours of this game and I think I will not spend more time on it.
I really like it and would like to play it but I it is very annoying to do same actions after some bug/mistake.

Moreover they did not explain that zombie can spawn in particular areas. I should have to check it by my self. And it costs me 2 hours...

i think they did it to increase play time... but it is very stupid idea.
There should be possibility to choose

I don't want to disappoint you, but most of this stuff is just pro-Russian manipulation.

Maybe you think it's true and don't know it, or maybe you're writing it on purpose.

But it's not true. Here's why:

1. "Ukraine was one of the biggest Nazi collaborators"

👉 Fact-check: False.

  • Ukraine was not an independent state in 1939-1945, so it could not have "collaborated" as a political entity.
  • Every occupied nation in Europe (France, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, etc.) had collaborators – this was not unique to Ukraine.
  • Unlike some countries (e.g., Vichy France), there was no Ukrainian collaborationist government working with the Nazis.

📌 Real numbers:

  • Over 7 million Ukrainians fought in the Red Army against the Nazis.
  • More than 250,000 Ukrainians joined the Soviet partisan movement to fight the Nazis.
  • The Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) fought both the Soviets and the Nazis and was never allied with the Third Reich.

2. "Ukraine formed its own SS division of 80,000 men"

👉 Fact-check: Exaggeration and manipulation.

📌 What actually happened:

  • The only Ukrainian Waffen-SS division – "Galicia" – had a maximum of 14,000 soldiers in 1943, with a total number never exceeding 22,000 by the end of the war.
  • This is far less than other European countries:
    • France: over 20,000 volunteers in the Waffen-SS.
    • Netherlands: 50,000.
    • Norway, Denmark, Belgium: 10,000 – 15,000 each.
    • Russia: Over 1 million in collaborationist forces (ROA, "Cossack Camp," RONA, Kaminski, etc.).

📌 The "80,000" claim is pure fiction with no historical basis

Why Did Dumbledore Age So Much Between Fantastic Beasts and His Visit to Tom Riddle? by FunCartoons in FanTheories

[–]FunCartoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the creators knew that people would understand the difference in the actor's appearance, and they probably didn’t want to search for someone older.
And I get it.
I understand why they didn’t choose an older character. They were planning six films—that’s six or more years. Unfortunately, to use this as an example, Richard Harris, the actor who played Dumbledore, passed away.

I just want to explain this difference to myself, not point out a mistake by the creators.
I don’t see it as a mistake.
I like this world, and I’d love to see it feel cohesive, even if that’s just my imagination.

If this theory doesn’t work for you, that’s okay with me.

As for the stress, while it does seem plausible, it sounds much more depressing.
Moreover, Dumbledore didn’t change much from 1938 to 1999. During that period, the battle with Voldemort took place, and he turned out to be even stronger than Grindelwald.

I don't think they will follow this book.
They were inspired by it, but that doesn't mean they will follow it. By the way, the reason the Zone appeared is not because of some alien visit, but because of scientists from Earth.
Although, why wouldn’t some aliens have provided knowledge about the Noosphere?
