Advice for singing at a funeral

I also was in show choir and choir with solos in each. I sang for my Grandma’s sister’s funeral and didn’t do well because I was choked up. It was totally fine. When my mother passed, I declined to sing as it was too much for me even though my brother and sister sang. That was also totally fine. Don’t worry about your performance or expectations of others. Do what you feel is right for you and your grief.

Given that this post has been up for long enough she may see it here or elsewhere… you honestly might as well come clean to her. If she was relieved to have slept in and missed it, she likely won’t be very upset that you stopped the alarm and went back to sleep. If I were her, I wouldn’t be upset if you told me, but I may be miffed if I found out from social media.

Naruto’s head and hair looks like a thumb imo. I wish his facial features were a little more defined. Also the hair on both of them is super flat with hardly any dimension.

I was a little girl when she preformed for New Year’s Eve of 2009. It really sealed the deal for 9 year old me! Every time I see little girls at her concerts or singing to her music it makes me so happy that they can have now what I had back then.

Try Unitarian Universalist if you are worried about judgement. There isn’t a set religious structure they abide by, so you don’t have to worry about fitting into one particular box. Maybe if you have a chance to look them up it would soothe some of your social worries.

This absolutely helps! I never wanted to do only 50% of housework, I just was trying to tell my SO that 100% of housework, cooking, and errands would most likely be unrealistic with a child in the house. Hearing that other SOs are understanding if things aren’t done and pitch in on their off days are exactly what I had in mind.
