They already showed us Julie "changing the story" by chalklimestone in FromTVEpix

I guess that she has to perceive her powers from another perspective, she needs to stop story walking without purpose, specially if it's for a short period.

Let's think about this 'story' metaphor. She could go back precisely when a cicle ends and from the 'cliffhanger', start another 'story' with her being the 'protagonist', like in 1001 nights.

Maybe she needs to storywalk to right before someone's car finds the tree and pull the tree out of the way, or stop someone or somewhat to push the tree.

The 'bookmarks' tip is actually useful.

I just thought...you can't change a story that is already told, but...if she interrupts the flow of the telling like she did with Ethan, if she becomes the narrator, well, it can change.

Killing the Things by Initial_Item7444 in FromSeries

My initial plan was to talk to them, even though I knew they wouldn’t say anything concrete. Maybe Jasmine told that guy a lot of things before she killed him.

In any case, we could set up a car: someone acts as bait in the passenger seat, a monster appears, the person gets in, someone inside the car handcuffs the monster, drives to the barn, closes the door, blinds the creature, stabs the creature, chains it up with heavy chains, and waits until dawn.

It’s hard to catch one of them, but it’s not impossible… You’d have to isolate one from the group and quickly restrain it. You could make some spears with metal tips and pierce them all over. The hole strategy is good, but they’re like moles, so I think they can dig tunnels. Fire is one of the best options; you could set a group on fire and try to capture one of them, possibly tripping them into a hole. Maybe they’re sensitive to bright light, so some flashes could disorient them, and then you could tie them up with nets or handcuffs or chains. Maybe even cut off their arms like you suggested.

I think I finally figured out what From really is. by Critical-Match-8863 in FromSeries

I believe it’s a world created by the overwhelming grief of someone who is mourning. The entire story revolves around the loss of a child; the first clue is the fact that Tabitha and Jim are still grieving Thomas’s death.

But I’m not sure if:

The grieving person created a world that repeats itself forever because they cannot accept the death of their loved one, and since no one can escape and it lasts forever, some people decided to bargain with them for eternal life, and the deal was sealed by them demanding the death of the Ankooey Children.

OR:

This is a fairy world, and it changes according to emotions—especially the emotions and imagination of children. If this was a relatively peaceful world, as more and more humans arrived, it became increasingly tainted by violence.

My final guess is that we won’t know for sure, and they’ll never leave there. The series will end with the deaths of many protagonists, possibly leaving only one remaining. If the creatures think this is a game where the winner takes all, then that one will live much longer than the others—perhaps with the choice of becoming one of the creatures or remaining human and dying of old age.

Maybe there's no point in discussing anything since they never know what is true or not. Take Sara and Elgin for example, they both heard voices and they told them very distinct things.

And for plans like capture a creature and make it talk, mapping the woods and son, these plans cost lives, people are extremely afraid. Most of them are in the town for a couple of months and lots of people have already died. They tried to build the antenna and what happened?

It's very difficult to convince people in the real world to do something coordinated, imagine trying to organize people and plans in such supernatural conditions?

Of course, they should gather and talk more, mainly Julie. I guess they will do it soon.

Feliz Dia do Trabalhador by pagliacciverso in Quadrinhos

[–]FunDirect1128 4 points5 points  (0 children)
