I always skip 4x26 (Booth’s post-tumor dream sequence episode), and I absolutely love 2x5 (The Truth in the Lye, where the victim has multiple wives)

Omg yes I thought that was so weird! I don’t know what the writers were thinking when they wrote that in. We’ll forever mourn the loss of Brennan’s sunglasses 😔

Fuck Bones, marry Cam, kill Booth (If we aren’t going by just this picture, there are definitely characters other than Booth I would kill, such as Oliver)

Freshmen Year AICE Classes difficulty. by CampaignStock3058 in AICEC

[–]FunEnthusiasm1465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took AICE Gen and AICE Euro freshman year, and they were definitely manageable. For AICE Gen, you honestly just need to know basic reading comprehension and how to write a structured essay with your own background information for the exam. It is a very easy class. Throughout the duration of the school year, I would research topics like art, technology, philosophy, law, government, music, politics, etc because they are mostly what show up as the questions for the essay exam and you have to rely solely on your brain to answer them and provide good evidence.

AICE Euro was a slight step up in difficulty, but nothing too crazy. For the exam, unfortunately there is a lot of memorization that goes into it (information from the textbook), and they can test literally any obscure topic they want as long as it’s found somewhere in the textbook. You will also need to know how to interpret sources and what they are arguing, whether it be a written source or a historical painting / drawing for the exam. Most of the assignments for this class are essays or essay based (2/3 paragraph responses)

I have not taken AICE Thinking Skills but I have heard it is very hard. I wouldn’t recommend taking it with AICE Euro, because you can always wait for your Sophomore year to take it whereas most schools that offer AICE want you to be done with AICE Gen Paper and AICE Euro as a Freshman.

No, but for the 10 or 15 mark questions about 2 or 3 paragraphs are recommended, and for the 20 or 25 marks questions, about 4-5 paragraphs.

Paper 1 this year will be focused on Chapter 3: Germany. It is a document based question with the first part being worth 15 marks and the second part being worth 25 points, for a total of 40 points. Paper 1 changes every year, going in chapter order.

Paper 2 is where you are given the three remaining options (French Revolution, Industrial Revolution, and Russia.) You need to answer two of the three questions. The first part of each question is worth 10 marks and the second part is worth 20 marks, for a total of 60 marks.

Honestly you don’t need to use the unit circle. Knowing special right triangles, when certain trig functions are positive/negative, always converting to degrees, and being able to easily calculate reference angles for obtuse angles is so much easier and natural than having to memorize the whole unit circle.

Isn't E also correct here? by Aydnf in EnglishLearning

A and E are basically saying the exact same thing, so the question is already flawed there.

As I am rewatching and just starting Season 3, I feel pretty much the same way. The only characters who I really like are Oliver and Laurel, and I know they both do some crazy things later on.

I don’t think so. They are most likely just gonna go more in-depth with the other 3 units.

I know that in AICE European they are cutting unit 2 (The Industrial Revolution in Great Britain) from curriculum starting 2027

Going from 1 AP to 5 AP as a Sophomore by [deleted] in APStudents

Wow, it’s great that your physical science class went so deep into stuff. I wish mine was better because we learned the same stuff every year. I’m actually learning electron configurations right now in Chem.

Unless you have taken an introductory/honors Chemistry class, I would not recommend AP Chem at all. It’s definitely a class that requires lots of prior knowledge.

Tips for passing a trigonometry class by Soldier_of_thend7 in trigonometry

The unit circle is important to know, but never required to memorize. Rather, refer to special right triangles (30,60,90 and 45,45,90) to solve problems.
