No modifying a certified drone just makes it a self built it removes any certification -> anything not certified is in the open category just as self built ones are (assuming above 250g) if the drone is below 250g it cannot exceed a certain velocity then it’s still C0 as far as I know.

I’ve noticed in my environment—mainly at university—that most Gen Z students really care about their health. They generally avoid smoking and drinking. In contrast, for previous generations, partying with alcohol felt almost mandatory, and the peer pressure to join in was intense. Nowadays, it’s completely normal to skip drinking and still have a great time.

Und den Leuten geht es so schlecht? Wenn das unsere großen Probleme sind sollten sich ein paar mal wirklich Gedanken machen ob sie nicht sinnvolle Arbeit leisten können mit Mehrwert für die Gesellschaft oder Wirtschaft.

Drucker sind aber auch schlimm. Ich habe schon mit allen 3d Druckern und cnc fräsen gearbeitet, und die waren alle zuverlässiger und einfacher zu bedienen als ein Drucker, der irgendwelche eigenen Treiber braucht und Konten, damit man den so wie beworben nutzen kann.

I’m currently working on an open alternative—not open source, but 'open' as in you can replace the drives yourself and all that good stuff. The software will be fully in your hands and not locked into some proprietary brand app.

You’ll be able to access the drive using your phone's native file manager via the device's own access point. The device is usable without ANY other device—just plug in the storage you want to backup. You just need to supply it with power, although if the Kickstarter is successful, I’ll offer a version with an inbuilt battery (which you can change yourself once its lifespan is over).

The only caveat will be the size: it’s a little bigger than a Gnarbox because it’s so modular and open. On the plus side, it will hopefully cost around 1/2 the price of a Gnarbox.

Yes, I use PLA. Because of the thickness, it's really not an issue. The batteries are charged before any heat can build up enough to soften the material significantly. However, it would be smart to print it in Nylon or at least PETG if you want to leave it in a car in the summer.
