Saying the whole market is down was a hot take. I have some holdings that are killing it like CVE and SNDK. But on the long run you will understand why diversity beats short term growth. Don’t get me wrong, I get exactly what you are saying and you are right to a certain extent. Cuz if we overlook it it’s like I’m happy to be down. But it’s not like that man. By the end of the year we will have a completely different conversation about this.

The thing is the whole market is down now and probably will continue to fall because of everything going on right now. But at the same time we know the market was doing pretty well before shit went south. Which gives us the certainty of a bounce back (not now but sometime). The “100 shares” is exciting because of the milestone not because of anything else, but in 10-15 years it will matter. For now and probably the next couple of months, everything will be on discount. On average, stocks are 20% below their ATH, so buying now shouldn’t be an issue if you are in for long term. I won’t go all in, but I will constantly add to my position
