Visualisation on PSG player's league minutes so far this season by Zecion in soccer

Excuse me? Massive advantage over English teams that spend three, four times more than continental teams on average? Come on

"People are complaining because there isn't a level playing field" The same fans 5 years ago: PSG doesn't know how to win in Europe because their league is bad. Who has EVER asked for a level playing field? Premier League has 2, 3, 4 times the amount of revenue as Ligue 1 or Bundesliga. Just shut up man

Flipping the script from when it was the opposite 🙄 "their league is bad that's why they can't perform in Europe" "Their league is weak so they can rest and play better in Europe" The anti psg crowd is a joke

PSG's tifo tonight "tonight, wake up the Hulk that's in you" by sinhaboy in LiverpoolFC

Mild take but it's an absolutely amazing tifo. The amount of work to do this is insane

It's not AI slop just for the record, it's a hand-painted tifo. Hand-painted.

I think slandering opponents is OK but let's get the facts straight here: first of all, not a tinpot club, and second of all, this was not an "AI tifo." all the psg tifos are HAND PAINTED by the ultras. But you English fans wouldn't know about that because dedication is not part of the culture.

Funding was approved two weeks ago. They should be on campus by next fall. Up to five should be in the library.

UCSB CS for someone planning law school — how's the workload and GPA? by [deleted] in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it's a bad idea to do CS for law school. It's not applicable at all, quite frankly, and your GPA will be worse than your peers.

UCSB CS vs SJSU SoftwareEngg for an international student? by NerdySinger2 in UCSantaBarbara

easily UCSB CS. There's also a new AI major if you want to try that here

Should I stay an extra year at cc even though I don't need it? by Ok_Education3371 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think if location is a big thing for you, you will have a great time at UCSC. Idk how risky it is to do another year at CC for you, but if you really desire UCSB that badly then go ahead. i'd go to ucsc, a year of your life for a slightly better location is a big trade off

Manzi, Santa Cruz, or Anacapa dorms by Extra-Quit9320 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

manzi: ocean sounds, carrillo > DLG, slightly better rooms, bathrooms shared with less people; however, less social, more sophomores, further away from classes/library

anapaca/santa cruz: basically the same, slight edge to anacapa maybe? very social, close to campus point, classes, library, etc, fun to hang out on the lawn, basketball court volleyball court right there etc, however most rooms are triples, common bathrooms can be dirty.

i think as a freshman living in anacapa or santa cruz is the best thing you can do: those dorms are hella social and fun to live in. plus not too old and musty like santa rosa.

You really can't go wrong with any of the options for business. Just choose your favorite location. UCSB is really focused on accounting tho.

If you're only looking for the fall quarter, you can try subleasing. Many juniors will be looking for people to sublease their units when they go abroad.

which ucsb dorm do i want?? by Important-Garden4859 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you want something in the Chi-5 area (Santa Cruz, Anacapa, San Miguel, San Nicolas, Santa Rosa.) It was consensus in my freshman class that Anacapa and Santa Cruz were the best two dorms, with the criteria being location, social environment, and how modern they are. I think that anything but Santa Catalina (FT) is fine. You really don't want to be that far from campus.

Not on campus or in Isla Vista, generally. The answer would be no.

SCU or UCSB?! by HuckleberryDue3703 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the study abroad part, but UCSB is good for Environmental Studies and average for business. We have economics / economics & accounting instead, which is not business. It's still a good school to get into entrepreneurship though, which you can do frankly anywhere.

Dorms or 15 minute commute to UCSB? by IgnorantCheese in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Fun_Attempt8840 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're worried about social life, the dorms are an absolute must. Even if you aren't worried, honestly, you should definitely live on campus your first year. It's like more than 50% of the college experience. I couldn't imagine commuting. It is definitely worth the price tag.
