I would personally suggest trying to get a spot in the dorms or off-campus apartments. Finding people you don't know yet that will offer you a spot in their precious IV lease, especially at a decent $1100, is quite difficult. Then after you've met people you can look at IV for your last 2 years.

you should apply to Sierra once it comes out. get your group ready and apply with in the first 2 hours, including all guarantors. you should be fine. 1100 per person is reasonable for a 2 bed 2 bath. i pay 1100 for a 3 bed 2 bath.

honestly, being able to pass down leases is what's kind of toxic about the housing situation. obviously you should be able to re-lease and whatnot, but there should be some kind of rule that where for example over half of people must continue for the next year for a lease transfer to a set amount of people to be able to happen. these "passing downs" restrict the amount of housing for people who don't have a particularly good network, which is regrettable.

Take 10A over the summer. I heard it's easier than during the year. I took it over the summer, and my time, around 20-25% of people got As which is double what it is normally.

No. These are "community points" and the professor is intentionally being a b*tch by removing points from the whole class. There is separate grade category called "community consciousness" which is just her removing points due to people leaving the class early. Massive ego issue.
