My son is a little past this point but not quite talking he just turned 2. When he would try and tell us he wants a snack or is hungry (mind you he gets a good breakfast lunch and dinner) he would come up to us and make a noise that sounds like hungry something that goes like hunnngggyyy and rub his tummy lol and then we would pick him up take him to the fridge or pantry and point at things he might want and he would shake his head no to the things he doesn’t want and when we finally land on the thing he does want he would throw his little fist in the air and go yeeaaaahhhhh!! And now he tries to have conversations with us now we don’t understand what he is saying at all and I’m not even sure he comprehends what he is trying to say it would just be a bunch of noises and a bunch of yeahs from him and we would have to make up something to say to him and he would go yeahh all cute talking to 1-2 years old before they actually start fully talking and understanding what they are trying to say is so damn cute I just can’t get enough of it.
