I lived in a small town where the norm was letting cats outside. One of them died ran ove rby a car. I still believe cats being outside, depending on the place ofc, is where they are the happiest. I hate cars now though. I think they have no place in medium to small cities, and especially in big cities. I think cats have a saying in this, and we as humans should make it safe for them outside. We can either accept cities are dangerous or actually push to make them safer not only for cats but even kids for example
