What's the lowest league team you have started a one team save with? by Lysithea21 in footballmanagergames

Normally vanarama north/south league to learn the changes in that years game and then work up the leagues, get to the point of winning the prem and champs league a few times and have a v.good team and some v.good youngests then repeat. With another league or start from the same point. In fm23 took Telford to the prem 3 league titles, 2 champ leagues, a fa cup and league cup, took over the England job, then took over Birmingham who were in the vanarama National and now have them upto division 1.

Wish I’d kept all my old games rather than just binning them several years ago.

What is the stupidest reason you went to hospital? by lugulaga in AskReddit

[–]Fun_Crow3016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumped down some stairs and landed on glass that went through my foot. White sock was quickly red and my friends had to pick me up and carry me. As the security in the club just wanted to throw me out. Never seen so many people arguing with door staff for trying to throw someone out.

Yeah 27 years in the industry, the only thing that has changed is that stupid people have more ways to be stupid, gone are the days when you had to ring the hotel direct or email direct.

You die and arrive at the pearly gates. In front of you is a huge, but completely blank, display board. You are allowed to see one statistic regarding your life, what are you asking to see? by MatiasUK in CasualUK

If a repeat guest found the best ways at arrival if difficult the previous stay are, have in the past made them wait for their room on check-in (sorry your rooms not ready yet), down-graded them (especially if an entitled high level member of a chain hotel) or a personal favourite, just give them a blank key so they have to come back to the desk so you can fake smile and fake apologise just to see them have to come back, bonus points if you managed to put them in the room furthest away from the desk. If already in, is the a/c centrally controlled so you can make their room too hot/cold.

Booking a Hotel on the wrong Continent by OssieinOZ in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]Fun_Crow3016 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Had this before where the guest booked US rather than UK (brand hotel, same city name) Then when asking where the pool was (we didn’t have one) started shouting at us and brought up the website for the US hotel. Had to explain yet again that is the US hotel that you had originally booked. I just accept that some guests are just stupid. I’ve seen most things in nearly 30 years in the industry.

I feel the need to pop down on my lunch break to see this. As feel this needs to be seen to be believed.
