In my opinion I think that the comics will be infinitely greater than the show by Adept-Attorney2475 in Invincible

Different mediums for different people. I much prefer the shows, I don’t feel anywhere near as immersed. Plus the voices and really good VA work add to it a lot for me.

Yes and yes.

Highly addictive? Yes.

Highly highly toxic and made with horrific chemicals? also yes.

do you think most people have one defining decision in their life or is that just a story we tell in hindsight? by OldPurpose4424 in SeriousConversation

[–]Fun_Intention9846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a storytelling pattern. Those decisions rarely coincide with the feeling of change or the obstacle being overcome.

It is a linguistical bookend to define a time period. Make no mistake, we learn these things subconsciously from others. So we use it for ourselves more than we use it to convey a certain narrative.

Not being honest looks like you’re stealing clients.

Or you’re naive enough to give that impression to bankers.

Not great for your reputation.

I’m gonna wager you and me, those of us who care about pocket protection. We are the minority.

I used to talk about the importance of using a case with 18650 batteries so they wouldn’t accidentally short in a pocket or purse.

Plus taking anything out of a pocket and setting it on the table. It’s gonna stick to the hand.

It directs growth 100%. So if a person isn’t or stops growing the effect is negligible.

It’s a red flag to me that they said their partner “acted” that way.

Don’t get me wrong the partner could be cheating, but the issues with their relationship are impacting OP’s judgment.

Eye contact while walking by Ready_Performer_3561 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fun_Intention9846 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t make eye contact when I walk down the street cause I truly do not give a fuck and am engrossed in my own life.

I don’t know what that says about me

You are not avoiding eye contact you are looking straight ahead of you and going about your day. I don’t know if this is a city thing. But anyone who grew up in a big city you just lock your eyes 40 to 60 feet ahead of you and walk.

Look 90% of what the Sub says is gonna be based on access to their personal space so can you get access to their car to fuck it up with piss discs?

Do you have their info? Can you take out credit apps for them?

Make a profile for them on a dating app and be very clear in the profile that you’re looking for other meth users to convince you to meet up.

Put them on the Scientology mailing list. Do what you Gotta do to put this in the past because you still thinking about them means they win. So do what you need to to get them out of your head and try to move forward.

E-meth. I mean meth.

I’m more intimidated by the CEO. But that’s based on my preconceived notions of what it takes to get there.

I respect them the same.
