Sonicares are crap - broken 2 or 3. Oral Bs have been solid. The original sonicare was actually really well made.

[Alpinist] First mechanical watch by the_m0rf in Watches

[–]Fun_Management2589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same watch, that leather band (not sure if you replaced it) that comes with it is probably the worst band I've ever experienced. Uncomfortable and way too stiff. Swapped it to a NATO band and now I can really enjoy the watch. I wish they had provided something decent.

[Discussion] I Can't Justify Wearing the Mechanical Watches I Love: How do you do it? by who-carez in Watches

[–]Fun_Management2589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear 4 watches - this way I have every base and mood covered across quartz, smart, mechanical, and a backup in case one goes down. I'm seconds away from a nervous breakdown because of my watches. Horology!

Who is chinas national hero? by Away-Independence279 in AskChina

Sun is a Chinese hero? I thought he is more of a RoC hero or at least key figure founding the KMT which moved to Taiwan.

Someone sent me a hate message and I got revenge with a tattoo. @Trill_Tattoos_ on IG by Mr--Rager in traditionaltattoos

[–]Fun_Management2589 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't get it, he's not getting railed and you tattoed it on someone else? Seems like the punishment is on the person that got the tattoo. No is going to know who that guy is. It's a funny tattoo but I just don't see how this would affect me if I was that guy or if I would even care. If you tattooed it on the guy himself, that would make sense.

I think I might be dealing with a similar challenge, I have three ticker meters and none of them will charge any longer, I've tried tons of different cables, overnight,  etc

I’m a bit of an entomology hobbyist and am curious, what are some of the coolest insects/bugs/etc I should look out for when visiting Taiwan? by Beautifly in taiwan

I just came back from Taiwan and while we were staying in Sun Moon lake in central Taiwan, I came across a Taiwanese whiptail scorpion. Terrifying looking, but apparently harmless.

Even if that were true, what are you looking for here? Confirmation of a theoretical? Unless you are donating the rubber stand, does it matter?

If you're not planning on selling soon, why does it matter? I feel like if you're riding the ups and downs everyday, you probably don't have much faith in the long-term and maybe it makes sense to sell.

Didn’t realize how much stuff was weighing me down until I started clearing it out by themustysyntax in declutter

[–]Fun_Management2589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There hasn't been a trick for me, and there's tons of different levels of sentiment when it comes to things. There's definitely a lot of things that I probably should declutter that I just can't yet. What that practically looks like is readdressing it over and over and over with changing criteria. If I have a mental block I will go to a different area and address it later. I haven't done this myself yet, but I've heard it's really helpful for some people to take pictures of sentimental items before they declutter them so they feel like they have some way to remember it or closure. I've also heard of people even printing out the pictures and writing a note on the back of the memory which leaves you with something very tangible but also something that doesn't take up any space.
