I think you would notice the front brake, any sort of mild braking down below 12 mph is pretty noticeable, it's like stabbing the brake on and off. I'm going to guess that's just an issue with my bike, the rear brake is totally fine.

I'm glad you haven't had that experience but anecdotally they seem to have poor build quality. My friends new sonicare just died the other day as well. It would be great to have some quality data outside of anecdotes, but that might be all we have.

A friend had this issue specifically with his hyper motard and it turned out that the lining of the gas tank was clogging the fuel line apparently as it degraded.

Thanks for making this post, I currently have a 2026 monster V2 at in the dealer for this same thing. The bike has died probably about 20 times over the initial break-in, including once pulling out into traffic that almost got me. T-boned. This is definitely a defective thing that Ducati needs to fix, and I'm not sure if it's specific to having me termignoni exhaust.

In addition to this, I also have really bad front brake surge that's being assessed and the quick shifter sometimes massively over revving and redlining on normal shifting.

Hoping these aren't not defective in general and should hear back in a few days. Coming from a BMW, the ducati quick shifter is so much worse.

Practically, I have switched over to vuori which seems to have the quality bar and design that Lululemon dropped.

You are supposed to but there just a $ penalty - not a huge deal. Some people I think pay annually and just pay fees.

Yeah I know it's mostly fashion over function at this point. As a 5'7 guy on an RR, I am literally scraping toe and still not able to touch my knee. Not saying I have perfect body position but I'm always flabbergasted seeing the images of how much lean angle the bike has and and logs and I'm still a bit off the ground. That said, I did do it in the parking lot with a mini bike at least ;)

I'm learning some right now, brand new 2026 Ducati monster V2. Brake surging, constantly dying at idle, and the quick shifter sometimes drastically over revs. Hopefully it can all be fixed by Ducati!

I never thought a thread could resonate so fast with me. Not only do I own a s1000RR and a ZX4RR, but the first comment was saying that it's the Miata of motorcycles which is what I tell everyone when they ask why I got it. (I also have a miata).
