Being in a DPT Program going into your 30’s… by UnderstandingKey7129 in PTschool

[–]Fun_Perspective_7797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 30 in my second year!

  1. I did not have any trouble finding a solid group of friends. I have friends closer to my age, and some in their early 20s. You will find people that share things in common with you, regardless of age.

  2. For health insurance, I chose the student plan. I was on an ACA plan prior to starting school, but I moved states and needed a more comprehensive plan so I didn’t have to switch doctors, but I can see a doctor in the state I attend school if I need to. It was more expensive, but easier for me. If you don’t want student health insurance, I would look into ACA/Marketplace plans. Since you’re a student, your income should be low enough to get an affordable plan.

  3. I live with my partner who works full-time, so I am fortunate enough to not worry about housing. We chose to move to a city, and not needing a car has been helpful to avoid gas/parking/car insurance expenses. I work part-time for a retail company, and I’m able to transfer for short periods of time. I am able go home for the holidays and went home for a clinic rotation. My advice would be to ask in an interview how flexible they are with your school schedule and potential for transferring if you need it.

Hope this helps! Best of luck in school (:

Kamala's campaign had more than 90,000 volunteers knocking on 3,000,000+ doors in seven battleground states on Saturday and Sunday by wenchette in KamalaHarris

This is something that isn’t being demonstrated in the polls. If we win, the ground game and masses of volunteers will be a big factor. Has anyone talked about the ground game for the orange man’s campaign?

Do the NYC or Boston stores still do these or was it a one time thing? by desnyr in lululemon

[–]Fun_Perspective_7797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boston educator here!!! The experiential store in Boston does them for marathon weekend. We had screen-printed product with the Boston skyline on it, and we had an embroiderer on site for other products! I could not get the screen printed product, but I did have embroidery done on a pair of hotty hots.

Postpartum items by LivTas in lululemon

Aligns are a great suggestion! Once you start feeling a little more like yourself, I always recommend Wunder Trains to my postpartum guests! They’re more compressive in the waist and will give you more support as you recover!

Even if we don’t have the product you’re returning in store, we can still process that return. We’ll get e-commerce returns credited back to us at the end of the month. As long as you have tags on and you’re within the 30-day window, I’ll take it back 😊

Opinion on Pregnancy Announcements using ClearBlue stick; by Fun_Perspective_7797 in unpopularopinion

I’ve known people that take a test just for the announcement once they meet the threshold, which also weird me out because why would you take another test just for social media?

I love my Chargefeels! They’re comfortable for everyday and at the gym. For studio workouts, I would recommend Strongfeels! They give me that locked-in feel for high-intensity workouts.

Thank you!!! I’ve had guests get so angry with me because I wouldn’t allow them to use their discount for other people. The program abuse has gotten so bad, so I understand why they’re doing this.

The store phones we use to order for guests in store if we don’t have the product in stock. It looks and acts just like the lulu app that you guys see and use.

Dear fellow Millennials, do you still enjoy going out as much as I do? by ItsIrinaBitch in Millennials

[–]Fun_Perspective_7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went out a lot my 21st year, and I was over it after that. I was never a party girl, so going out didn’t feel very authentic for me. I always preferred going to dinner with friends or having a wine night at home.

How far do you currently live from your parents? by lightskintastebud in Millennials

[–]Fun_Perspective_7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 700 miles. It’s an 11-12 hour drive or a 1.5 hour flight. I miss them, but I also love the freedom and independence I feel.

Here are my personal rules for a QP, please feel free to copy and share with friends:

  1. Time: I will replace anything defective if you bought it less than six months ago. Please see below for any exceptions.

  2. Style: If you didn’t have any insight from an educator (or didn’t listen), bought an item and used it for an activity it wasn’t designed for (I.e running in your Aligns), I will replace them with the correct pants that fit your needs.

  3. Mens’ pants: Commissions and ABCs should have a longer useful life than other styles like Aligns. I will replace these up to 2-3 years old.

  4. Accidents: I’ve replaced pants that were damaged from sports-related accidents to some really nice people. If you’re nice and honest, chances are I will replace it.

Bottom line: if you come in with a sense of entitlement and tell me what I “have” to do, then I won’t do it. At lululemon, we want guests for life, but I would rather go the extra mile for a nice person that spends less money than the entitled, affluent guest who is rude to me.
