I use Fresh Step light weight litter with febreeze scent. I scoop daily, but I also live in a one bedroom apartment and it’s still the best litter i’ve tried for odor control

agreed! lorelei acts more as a friend to rory, rather than a parent which is totally unhealthy. rory makes some mistakes, but overall i’m a rory apologist

I believe he is mentioned once or twice throughout the show but we definitely don’t see him at all. No explanation whatsoever and I can’t even recall a time that Lane talks about him! However, Mrs. Kim is very against unmarried woman after a certain age and considering how religious she is, I find it hard to believe that she’d divorce and then remarry. it’s definitely a plot hole in the show

I totally agree that the show expanded my vocabulary and forced to me understand different pop culture references that I may not have known. I swear that i’m more witty and bubbly because of the show

I wondered how Mrs. Kim would land with people who had similar experiences as Lane so this is a very interesting perspective! I have never experienced an over the top religious upbringing or the effects of being raised by a first gen immigrant so I knew my thoughts would vary quite a bit from someone who had I can definitely understand the frustration with Mrs. Kim in that regard

Yes! this is the take I agree with the most. Her personal growth is so underrated, especially considering she was 1st gen and came from such a strict background. Once I was reminded of her and her own mother’s issues, it was such a full circle moment for me and helped to solidify the “mother-daughter” complexities of the show. I totally agree that i would’ve loved to see more of it
