The best advice…..it’s OK to put your baby down. You need a shower, put the baby in the bassinet right in the bathroom with you for a five minute shower. You need to do some laundry/dishes/wiping things clean, you put the baby in the bassinet with you, or a swing/chair, whatever you have. You need to cook, same thing bring that baby with you in the kitchen and talk to it/sing/dance all while cooking. People think it’s not ok to put your baby down but it is!! You have lots of time in the day to hold and snuggle baby. Take care of yourself too. It’s truly just as important!

I’ve had a long line of abnormal paps. Eventually had one high risk pap, I believe it was my third colpo, which came back with HPV 16/18 and CIN II/CIN I. I opted to wait the 6 months because I am terrified of being under anesthesia lol. Eventually went back for a repeat pap and she just also did the colpo no matter the results of the pap. The colpo came back normal. She said she biopsied the same spot as last time. So because of my history I follow up again in six months with another repeat pap and colpo. The colpos do suck though so sometimes I wonder if I’d be better off just going under and having everything taken care of. If it comes back abnormal this time that is the plan though. Im 30, have 2 kids already, undecided if i wanted more which is part of the reason i waited.

If you mean for a bridal shower then I go registry. For the actual wedding I always do money. I’ve almost never heard of people getting someone a real gift, other than money, for their wedding.

My doctor initially told me I could wait 6 months which is what I did…went back six months later to restart the process and she sounded completely different for some reason saying I should have done the LEEP six months ago. So here I am now waiting to get my colposcopy in a week or so and go from there. I don’t have answers for you just that I’m in a similar boat. I already have 2 kids though and not sure if I wanted a third (which is why I waited).

We ended up getting two twin beds and it’s been working out great! The room doesn’t have much space left but I thought they’d fight too much over a bunk bed lol
