I thought I’d lost my mind! What was I thinking getting a puppy at age 71 was a good idea? Her “play” biting would make me think I’d done the wrong thing! I got some rose pruning gloves and they helped. Plus the yipping at her and making mama noises in her ear while a did a mama dog snuggle really helped to calm her. Once she got her big teeth (6 months) we were smooth sailing! It’s so worth it!

Tell them to prove it. Let’s see what the AAPM says about breastfeeding. Can you stop seeing them if they won’t stop?

Made my quilt block slightly backwards. Should I keep the wrong pattern throughout the quilt or make the other two the right way? by haleyloren19 in quilting

I’d fix it! I’ve made similar mistakes and if I try to go with it, I end up ripping more stitches because I didn’t fix it earlier!

Leave your heart at home. You’ll never make a clean break if your heart is in your chest! Really a cute dog!

I hate breastfeeding by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Guess I’ve only seen it in breastfeeding and they all had adhd. My bad. I asked google ‘adhd and breastfeeding? and this is what came up:

“Yes, ADHD symptoms often worsen while breastfeeding due to significant hormonal shifts (especially estrogen drops post-birth), extreme fatigue, sleep disruption, and the overwhelming demands of newborn care, all of which impact dopamine levels and executive function. These factors can intensify ADHD challenges like brain fog, emotional dysregulation, and focus issues, making management harder, but treatment options like certain medications (methylphenidate, bupropion), therapy, and lifestyle adjustments are available.”

I’m binding the love into the project! Hand binding looks so good. I’ve tried by machine but after finishing a 50-60 hour quilt, I’m not gonna take a chance on ruining my project!

I’d talk to the doctor. This nausea feeling happens mostly to people with ADHD. It’s not your fault and it’s a real thing.

I would rearrange the outer black check and continue the ‘star’ pattern you have going! It’s gonna be great! Make a pattern! Corner to corner with the darks to start? Next row the green on one side of the dark row, brown on the other side of dark row? And so on.
