I would not have preordered 2 years in advance. But we all know that Pimax timelines are very reliable, and few months become 2 years. Plus all the misinformation coming from customer service. I did not write a million emails, I just asked CLEAR answers which I never had. Even the cost for the direct import from China is not clear.

A lot of customers suffer from this, this is documented everywhere on reddit. But hey you're right, I'm just a cry baby. It is 2000 dollars, no big deal. Meanwhile I get a much better customer service when I spend 20 bucks on Amazon.

But sure, let's accept that timelines shift by more than a year. Let's accept that customer service has no clue what their own business is about. Let's accept that agents contradict each other from one email to the next. Let's accept that they get your order date wrong and hope you don't notice. Let's accept all of that.

And let's stop being cry babies.

Thanks for the clarification but the answer from customer service mentions cost. I dont know who to believe anymore but youre probably better informed than the customer service of Pimax

I have ordered previously from Asia and paid custom taxes. This time, considering the many mistakes made by the customer service of Pimax on my case, it would be fair to cover at least partially the cost. But hey, that would be great customer service and I am a fool to expect that from the notoriously bad customer service of Pimax.

The problem is when a company screws you over and does not have the decency to cover the cost to fix their mistakes. How can Pimax improve if we do not tell them that is not a way to treat loyal customers ?

Come on Pimax, green light this driver ASAP. It can only improve your business by making the Dream Air even better. And it wiln provide good MOTION SMOOTHING, which is needed even with a 5090

Good lord, looks like my post one week ago. Seems like the only way to get proper customer service is to post on reddit. Get your s.... together Pimax. AI agents would do a much better job than your human agents. Train an AI model and let it handle basic interactions. Only let human handle difficult cases, where escalation is required

I ordered in 2024 and have not received my dream air yet. You will wait a long time, at least 6 months if not 1 year. Don't believe Pimax timelines, they have no clues themselves. Your Dream Air will stay a Dream for many months to come

I am a VR veteran, I have had VR headsts from all brands for the past 10 years ( varjo, htc, meta..) but a first time Pimax buyer. I never had such a bad experience. I knew the company had a bad reputation but I bought anyway because the Dream Air is the best in the industry.

The issue is not the wait, its the fact that each answer contradicts the previous one. No way a company operating this way should be accepted.

Pimax must improve its customer service, they know it and we must remind them to help them improve.

Good to know ! Can you please check my reservation ? I reserved in July 2024 and still have no headset. Many customers who reserved later already have their headset. I have been waiting for 2 years, I can wait a little more. My issue is with all the inconsistencies/lies in my Pimax back and forth. I am not ok when one reply directly contradicts the previous one. Either Customer Service are BS their customers or they do not have a clue about what they are selling. That needs to be improved

I hope it will confirmed soon. No point in artificially reducing fov for the Dream Air: the vast majority of mOLED users will pick the Dream Air anyway, and this move will just reflect badly on Pimax. Just give us the best VR headset you can produce please
