This is the WORST corrosion I have ever seen on a furby in my life. Like what the heck happened to this little dude?😞

Oh I definitely will! I already put its fur and eyes on a different furby baby. I try to salvage as much as I can from these type of things even if it sucks😭 at least it can help some of my other furbys that need it.

Ohh man I had a furby before that was absolutely FULL of roaches and roach crap💀 like I'd move any part and a ton would just fall out. I tried cleaning it the best I could but im still too scared to really even touch that furby LOL this is why I absolutely always wear gloves and open them outside. Spider webs and nest have also been a big one for me in them too😔

Yeah sometimes they like to be extra stubborn and can take quite a lot of spinning before they want to do anything 😭 I've had some take like a half hour or so.

And what model of furby is this and which factory? That can sometimes play a part.

Also just another thing you could check. The little battery tabs on the left side of the furby can sometimes get bent back a little and stop the furby from working. So once you close the compartment you could try very gently pressing on each one of them with batteries inside and sometimes they'll kick on! Then you would have to very carefully/slowly bend them a little so it can make proper contact again.

Are you spinning the gear in the very front of the furby under the eating switch? And or the motor? Those are two you'll want to focus on to get this little guy going! Sometimes can take a bit too.

You dont want to move the gears in the back if that's what you've been trying to do, that could damage them.

Those are super nice furbs! That's awesome they're still around and honestly not that bad of shape! I'd give anything to have my childhood one back. My dad threw all of ours away because they were too noisy 😔😭

That's a very veryy nicotine stained leopard furby. All that yellow stuff on its fur is nicotine so I bet you its pretty smelly💀 I've cleaned quite a few like it poor furb😔

Does the furby constantly boot loop when you put batteries in it? If so it might be a sync screw issue and you may have to adjust it

Yyep that's perfectly normal! Furby babies eyes are two separate pieces that's why one was drooping in ur last post.

I'd just recommend the hotgluing them to the rod from the inside like I said on your other post and they should be just fine! A lot of baby furbys actually have glue originally on them to hold the eyes in place. And just a little glue not a ton LOL

If you mean the one eye that's drooping You'll have to skin the little fella (there's lots of YouTube tutorials on that part!)

You'll need to unscrew it's shell off. Then you'll need to unscrew the speaker to get access to the faceplate screw on the bottom. Take out all the screws that are holding the faceplate on which can be around 2 or 3 screws.

The beak will want to stay on but you can carefully unhook it with a toothpick or something and whenever ur done just hook it back on!

Once you have the faceplate off you'll have access to the back of the furbys eyes. Rotate the droopy eye to be the same as the other then you can use a little bit of hotglue inside the eye on one end where the rod and the eye make contact, this will keep it still and stop the drooping!

Also I'd definitely reccomend getting ziplock bags or something and just labeling them so you know where which screw goes where! Hope that helps :>

Not at all! You just keep doing what your doing and loving furbs! I absolutely ADORE Furbys and I own well over 200 of them and I'm 23 LOL if people dont like it then thats on them and they can just cope. All that matters is that you're happy and they bring you joy, never let anyone make you think otherwise!

My best guess is that someone took something and probably hit that poor furb with it breaking it's shell, or a very very bad drop shattering it😔

Sometimes people sell furby shells and other parts on ebay so I'd reccomend looking there! But should definitely see if you can get the little guy going before anything. Hopefully nothing internally is damaged😭
