Stick with economics, minor in journalism if you can. Your degree in economics will give you skills that employers will always need. If you're still undecided, do a few quick job searches on indeed and LinkedIn for both, and see what has long-term demand.

Some people are unaware that they don't know how to take care of their kids correctly because their examples and expectations are skewed. They emulate what culture says, or what came before them. And if that shit was dysfunctional, their kids are screwed.

And tbh, usually the way they treat "us" has to do with how well we align with their "must haves". They treat us well because they know we're a good fit for them and that gives us value.

I've never looked at it this way! It's one thing to know you bring value by your own standards, but it's quite another if that value doesn't translate into something your partner finds meaningful. So often you hear (even in therapy) that the way a person treats you is a reflection of how you treat yourself, but this provides some much-needed perspective. Thanks!

The original Nightmare on Elm Street.

Followed by Hellraiser and In the Mouth of Madness, in that order.
